    I can empathize with the bereaved families, but I can also understand that it is not that easy to properly examine and identify all 179 victims in a short period of time. I hope everyone involved is given strength and resilience to go through this tragedy.

      They can do it if they have the manpower and equipment. What we also need to understands that bodies that are exposed to the environments decomposed very quickly and as they become more decomposed the more difficult to verify their identity. What the victim family demand is very fair and reasonable, more manpower, more resources need to be relocate to work in this once in a century disaster.

    This accident has led to serious questions and authority needs to update these:
    Pilot Fatigue: Was pilot fatigue a factor given the extensive flight hours, and are regulations sufficient to prevent fatigue-related incidents?
    Bird Strike Response: Was the decision to go around justified given the functioning engine, and should protocols allow more flexibility?
    Emergency Communication: Was the communication between the control tower and pilots effective, and how can it be improved in critical situations?
    Barrier Design: Is the use of concrete barriers the safest option, or should frangible alternatives be considered to reduce crash impact?
    Training Adequacy: Are current pilot training programs comprehensive enough, and should they include enhanced focus on fatigue management and emergency decision-making?

If my family had been on the plane, I’d want to know how they went from 23 survivors to 2, especially after seeing the video, and why anyone died at all. That was a survivable belly landing, not a crash. They were alive when they were sliding down the runway. They died when they hit something on the ground. Keep in mind that Stopways or runway end safety area (RESA) of other International Airport generally have lengths of ±500M with metal mesh for a wall
    Meanwhile Muan International Airport only have 146 Meter and they put CONCRETE WALL at the end of it!

  • @honeyh7772
    @honeyh7772 День назад +2

    if they knew this was a rather short runway which we can see from the video WITH A WALL..why didmt the pilot just landed it somewhere else? Some nearby runway if there was one. Were all 3 engines shut down? And most importantly, if the pilot knew that there is a chance of failure,why not burn the fuel in the air first? The wall amd airport structure is 100% at fault but there needed to be presence of mind here. But i camt imagine what that pilot must have felt in the last minute. Seeing death soo close

    • @bbwalk100
      @bbwalk100 День назад

      The pilot had to be told from air traffic control to land on that particular runway.

    The deceased deserve to rest in peace. Let these people work to fully recover their bodies and do not rush them. Mistakes need to be avoided and rushing these people can result in mistakes...

    They cannot return to the family "a percentage" of the body. They must return to the family every single human remnant belonging to that DNA. Otherwise, after returning all the bodies, there will be human fragments left, and what will they do with them? A mass grave? Or, a week after the funeral, send a phalanx to the victim's family?
