I'm using this for many hours a day. 1.5 crashes if the prompt is too long or complicated. I've ran prompts where it would find over 600+ websites but the report wouldn't come out properly. Overall, very powerful tool but still has some problems in terms of complexities
Can you ask it for preferred website sources in the prompt? Because way too often these models just search other AI slop websites rather than the “best” websites for some specific information. Meaning it just recycles AI slop as their “research”.
Wish this was available via API. We can do all of these things ourselves but I'm at the point where I just want them to wrap them in a single query API.
I agree that would be a nice offering. They did recently add search ground to the API which is a step in that direction which I thought was nice to see. It’s also in AI studio for free to test if you haven’t already checked it out
@DevelopersDigest yeah, I've been playing around with it. I do have flash 2.0 setup on a server which is pretty awesome. We've gotten to the point where I don't want to build anything myself because every time I do, everything I built gets rolled out by a major company as a cheap API call 😂
I use perplexity every day but I am so jealous of people who have access to deep research. It searches so many more websites and sources and the reasoning capabilities of Google models are just light years ahead of perplexity.

Awesome video...thank you sharing bro.
Thanks for watching!
Can it do it on a private set of documents ?
Great video! Thanks

Pro tip: Use Deep Research w/ Notebook LM
That is a great idea!
Cool idea
How to use both together?

You can in the prompt. I saw someone tell it to prioritize Reddit.
I honestly don't understand why Deep Research is not available for Workspace accounts...
True
I’m mad

I use Perplexity a lot and I’m really suspect of Gemini, I can’t figure out why it does not know how to use google sheets properly, WTF?

Google is catching up. Nice. But I'm sticking with free version of perplexity for all my research needs.

just like humans, perplexity, and ChatGPT's search, all these search products eat up the shitty "Top 10" AI slop articles.
I need something that’s just better. Like scholar ai or similar but unlimited use and free.
I've had success with it by asking it to prioritise high quality sources such as research papers and websites I trust
Is a paid service. Got it.
So what? Nothing good is free in life😂
@@budekins-q3s It matters, that is what.
