It wouldn't work at all for the combo because it doesn't apply poison at all, or for free. The synergy is the ability for Weezing to poison with gas leak without needing to attack. Technically whirlipede can poison before Evo, but that is usually highly risky and only advisable if you don't draw your weez.
EX is not always the end-all be-all so I love seeing this. Someone tried to start EX Mewtwo against me so I pciked them apart with basic Darkness before scoring a relatively easy win.
I run a Blaine deck, but I really don't like the new Rapidash. With how energy hungry Ninetails is, I'd almost always rather have the faster original Rapidash than need to spend an extra turn powering up for damage that isn't even reliable. I also run Heatmore instead Farfetched. Less damage against other decks, but more against Celebi almost balances out, and it's got a bit more HP which can sometimes keep it on the field the extra turn I might sometimes need to get Ninetails up and running. Shame the new Magmar burns two energy every time it attacks instead of just one, otherwise it could have been a great add.
Haha that's funny you say that.. my person Blaine deck I use actually runs Heatmore too! I also agree the new Rapidash is awkward. I don't mind running one of each since it can situationally benefit, but agree the 2 cost is rough.
@@ShortsTCG: the cost is the deal breaker for me. I would maybe run a less reliable Rapidash if it was more like a fire version of Exeggutor, one energy for a guaranteed 30 plus a coinflip for a possible extra 30 more. For two energy though, I want something that either always does more damage than the original, or else has an extra effect. Like maybe a Fire Spin attack to trap the opponents so they can't retreat before I bring in Ninetails to finish the job.
Hell yeah, i love running non-ex decks.
Me too! I'm an off meta gamer for sure
I have the smokescreen Wheezing I’m assuming that wouldn’t be ideal for the scolipede deck or would it be okay?

Agreed :) Dark types are definitely some of the best non EX at the moment too!
Good vid!
Thank you!

Yep agreed on all points. Everyone is on the coin flip high with Celebi Rapidash and Misty into Gyara 😂

iirc, Giovanni doesn't boost Dnite because Dnite does damage through an effect, not an attack
It does, trust me. I've been on the receiving end :)
