I truly respect people who rescue these beasts from paddocks and restore them for future generations to either enjoy or admire.
We don't make any cars anymore, so must preserve what we have made.
Our motoring history is worth keeping alive.

I loved that EH Premier wagon!🤤My very first car aged 18 in 1980 was a from new, one family owned EH Premier sedan, in Valley Mist Green, white roof. It went from the parents to the eldest son, then to the next son, then to me. It had the original 179HP, but converted to a 4 speed on the floor from a Toyota Corona. The motor had extractors, K-MAC suspension, Monroe shockers & chrome dragway mags. I owned if for the next 15 years & stupidly sold it when I got married. Great memories of a beautiful car.😍😎👍🏼

Nice collection. Thank you. I reckon that 161 engined Monaro would be a nice Sunday driver. My father purchased a one year old ex-rep Belmont station wagon with the 161 engine, circa 1970 and it kept up nicely with the traffic on our summer holiday trips in the North Island. We were living in Levin and drove to Auckland without any issues.

It's probable that most will be restored after they eventually get on sold to new owners one day in the future. He owns them, so I respect his right to do whatever with them he pleases.

Holden was the Australian subsidiary of General Motors (GM). Most of the Australian built cars were for the Australian and New Zealand markets though some were exported to other Right Hand Drive markets in small numbers. In its later years, Holden cars were engineered in Left Hand Drive and exported to Brazil, USA, the Middle East and China under other GM brand names such as Chevrolet, Pontiac and Buick.

Cheers Pete, but it's the job of a show host, to keep the content rolling. 747 episodes & 16 years continual production, I think my system works 😉

@@classicrestostv1fletch764 747 wow thats awesome, where were they shown? On which TV channel? Glad Shannon’s is putting item on their channel.
I have trouble concentrating when the guest is interrupted.. but looking forward to seeing lots more old cars in more episodes.

@@Peteslife - All good Pete. I thought you would appreciate the reply. Classic Restos in Australia airs on C31 Melbourne, C44 Adelaide. Shows like mine are all on social media these days - RUclips etc. Thank you for watching Pete. Cheers, Fletch 👍
