I truly respect people who rescue these beasts from paddocks and restore them for future generations to either enjoy or admire.
We don't make any cars anymore, so must preserve what we have made.
Our motoring history is worth keeping alive.

Love it. I made the mistake of buying a 61 FB Ute in 2017. From a property in country Vic. $500. Sold it for 3k. Then got a HX Kingswood sedan, $1500...resold for $1500 2 mths later then HR Wagon...paid $500, sold that for same. All because i thought " i can't restore these". 7/8 years later, still kicking myself. Should have just put them in a corner of the shed somewhere. FML 😩

I loved that EH Premier wagon!🤤My very first car aged 18 in 1980 was a from new, one family owned EH Premier sedan, in Valley Mist Green, white roof. It went from the parents to the eldest son, then to the next son, then to me. It had the original 179HP, but converted to a 4 speed on the floor from a Toyota Corona. The motor had extractors, K-MAC suspension, Monroe shockers & chrome dragway mags. I owned if for the next 15 years & stupidly sold it when I got married. Great memories of a beautiful car.😍😎👍🏼

It's probable that most will be restored after they eventually get on sold to new owners one day in the future. He owns them, so I respect his right to do whatever with them he pleases.

Holden was the Australian subsidiary of General Motors (GM). Most of the Australian built cars were for the Australian and New Zealand markets though some were exported to other Right Hand Drive markets in small numbers. In its later years, Holden cars were engineered in Left Hand Drive and exported to Brazil, USA, the Middle East and China under other GM brand names such as Chevrolet, Pontiac and Buick.
