Your heat press looks a lot like the HTVRont heat press. You can check to see if you have enough pressure by placing dollar bills halfway out from around your pressing plate, then press and see if you can pull the bills out. If you can, you don't have enough pressure. You can increase the pressure by adding another pressing pad. Also, on DTF you'll want to press twice. Press, then flip the sheet over so the non-printed side is over the t-shirt, and press again to help set the ink.
I would suggest switching from cricut to silhouette. I have never had an issue since I switched over. My cricut just sits there waiting for a random Vinyl project 😂
