- This is the most chaotic experience I've had in VR, but it had me crying with laughter. UBOAT:The Silent Wolf is an Immersive VR experience that takes you back to WW2. There is a story-mode in single-player that will have narrative and teach you how to man this UBOAT. Unfortunately, none of us completed this before playing the multiplayer free-play mode which resulted it a lot of confusion and pure chaos. This game requires a lot of attention to detail and memory, as making mistakes will have you facing deadly consequences, which will have you laughing along the way. Our failures were due to lack of training. I highly recommend you all check this out for yourselves, and be sure to get some single-player time in before hopping into Multiplayer so you have a better chance than we did!

It’s fun. But definitely hop into single play for a bit to learn the ropes first. Take it from me. 😆

The one on your green screen, has an incorrect aspect ratio, it's quite narrow vertically.

Yeah and it’s surprisingly complex at the same time even more so than the Uboat PC game with all the workable valves and controls etc. Can’t really think of another example where the VR game is better than the PC version it’s really really well done.
@@honeybadger9425 Complex is right! But After you learn the controls, it becomes more straightforward. I’ve Never played the PC version, but I’m sure the VR experience adds to the immersion.

Ah my back was turned while he did it. But Resol VR, the one who lit the dynamite has a video on his channel of this gaming session. I believe there was a Lighter or matches around. I think he shows it on his video.

I am stuck on solo mission 5. I've sunk the carrier but i am struggling with evading the destroyers. Wasn't any tutorials on evasion other than how to dive to 160 metres.
Yeah I think they could have done better job at the tutorial aspect of this game. Everything should be taught, especially the first time. But good luck 🍀 hopefully you’ll get past it soon.
Me too...I thought I got away but the destroyer came back for me. Any luck yet?
@@stocktrader98 Yes i have completed it now. I dived down to just over 160 metres then leveled it off manually with the two wheels then hit dead slow on speed. I then used the hydrophone to figure out which way the destroyer was on the surface then i set the exact opposite direction in as my course and slowly crept away. I used the speed up thing on the watch. Occasionally the watch sets back if a depth charge is dropped but i just kept forwarding time. After that I used the hydrophone again and got no noise back so i went up to periscope depth and saw the coast was clear so surfaced and returned to nearest port and it was a success.

@@stocktrader98 I've retried it and made a video of how i did it. It's not the best of videos as i don't know what settings to use to achieve the best results for making videos re aspect ratios but it's watchable. Ive uploaded it last night to my RUclips channel. Might help.

My first VR experience was the game Superhot, then I played The Room VR & was hooked ever since. So many experiences to be had. Gotta find something that’s her style to get her into it.
Every time I play there’s no ships to take out I think it’s a waste of money and my time for real
Did you go through the whole tutorial? I’m this video we hadn’t, hence the chaos. But I hear ya. You may be able to get a refund if you’ve played less than 2 hours & within 14 days of purchasing the game. 🤞

Sure! On the main menu home page, select free play, then select multiplayer from there. If you’re wanting to join someone, their name will appear on the phone log & give you numbers to enter. Let me know if you get it working, or if not, where you’re getting stuck & I’ll try to help.
