Other Fun Fact: In the (almost official) Bluey Podcast, Gotta Be Done, he confirms it was one of his favorite songs, and it’s half of what gave him the idea for The Sign. So he got Meg in (pun), and got to hear his favorite song variated many times, until he heard the one if you know what I mean, and broke down.

Whenever people talked about Brandy, the word used is infertile, which is different from sterility. Sterility is the total inability to have children, where infertility means that it's difficult to either conceive or carry, but it's still possible given luck.

4:11-Pretzel has two mums (so cute 🥰)
4:58-The pups huddling around Bluey, howling sadly
Quick pause in comments- I'm sure Bandit didn't want to move either but he's only doing it for the kids. Muffin being Muffin, Socks is walking and talking.
    15:37-16:39: Poor Jeremy can't catch a break
Bluey riding in the front seat
    20:53-Who called the Po-Po?
23:30-Rad and his brother's wearing watermelon helmets 🤣. . . Chris Heeler, come get your kids 🤣
37:20-Brandy's pregnant (And let's be honest, I'm always happy to see Mort)
    Frisky's family (Her dad's a good-lookin' dog. Let's be honest)
39:00-Bob and Nana sobbing with joy 😂
43:52-Everyone gettin' down on the dance floor (Mort's dance was my favorite. 44:21 Look at him go.)
46:08-Uncle Stripe wakes up at Wendy's, drunk and wasted 🥴
    47:04-Bingo barking at the movers
Kudos to Judo for hugging both Bluey and Bingo and Wendy is the best neighbor ever.
And finally, 53:08-Bandit uses all his pent-up frustration to rip up the sign and yeets it into the street. Best Dad EVER 🤩
I loved this episode, I'm still geeking out about it.

Joe Brumm is the writer and creator of Bluey and when creating the underlying theme of this episode Joe Brumm went with Luck and Bad Luck and the prospect/meaning of ''We'll See'' and Miscommunication. Both of these were written in flawlessly and beautifully. He is truly one of if not the best writer. You can see his expertise shine through every episode of this show.

Key Points: (Because I watched this before and rewatching makes me HEART CRY)
    1. The place where Frisky and Chili goes "thinking" is confirmed (sorta) to be the place to smoke and drink. I think I heard it from the creators or people in a podcast because it's what young adults do during heavy times.
    2. People are freaking out over Brandy being pregnant but some theorized that she could've gone through the medical process and it worked! I'm glad for her!
    3. WHY IS MY HEART CRYING I HAVE NO IDEA
    4. ALSO THE SINGER AT THE END IS CALYPSO'S VA

And here we are at one of the biggest events in Bluey history: a half-hour long special that deals not only with the Heelers’ impending move, but Rad and Frisky’s wedding, too. There’s so much to unpack with what an emotional rollercoaster this special is that I may just have to bullet-point highlights. I even had to write these out largely in advance, lol. Sorry for how long this’ll be.
-So the move is happening because Bandit accepted a higher-paying job in another city, and wants to be able to give his family the happy and comfortable life he believes they deserve. It’s sweet how much he values his wife and children’s happiness, but as someone who moved from his childhood hometown years ago, I know what a huge change it is, and I wonder how Bandit feels about Bucky Dunstan, who criticized his drawings of cars as a kid, handling the sale.
-Good to know Winton’s dad and the Terriers’ mom are still seeing each other.
-While heartbreaking, hearing all of Bluey’s classmates howl as they group around her shows just how much she means to them, and how much they’ll miss her.
-Once again, Calypso comes through with a poignant lesson in the form of a story. Even if we’re unsure of what the future will bring, all we can do is wait and see what comes about. Everything will work out the way it’s meant to.
-Of course, Muffin being Muffin, she’s taking her role as a flower girl very seriously, and it really makes me happy hearing Socks talk in full sentences. It really shows how much she’s grown up.
-Hoo boy, Stripe really dropped the ball letting Frisky know what Rad hadn’t told her yet. It kind of reminds me of Mackenzie telling Bingo about Bandit’s long trip in Curry Quest. Of course, Rad dropped the bigger ball by not telling Frisky this himself.
-The simple logic of kids: if the For Sale sign isn’t there, that means the house won’t be sold. If only it were that easy…
-Poor Frisky. This is the last thing she needed before her big day, and now she’s calling it off…
-“Are we allowed to do that?” Nuff said, lol
-Who knew the Heeler family car had a name? Hi ho, Bobo, away!
-Bluey getting to sit in the front for the first time is a huge accomplishment for a kid her age. Good for you, kiddo. =)
-“POLICE!” Muffin, we love ya. XD
Quick, Bluey, use that plan you made with Bandit to escape the police! On second thought, never mind, this constable’s a helpful fella.
-Missed Frisky by THAT much, but hey, lucky coin!
-Going up to the lookout with Frisky to ‘think’, huh, Chilli? Riiight, lol
-Poor Chilli. She agreed with Bandit to move to a new place, so it’s not like she’s being forced into it, but she hates the idea of leaving behind so many memories in that house. Who can blame her?…
-We may not have seen the full of Rad and Frisky’s talk since the kids were busy with the binoculars , but it’s sweet to see them reconcile and put the wedding back on.
-The wedding itself is a mix of heartwarming and hilarious, and it’s so nice getting to see the Heelers, the Cattles, and Frisky’s family getting to know each other. Just the fact it’s being held at the Heeler house is heartwarming, since it’s where Rad and Frisky first met.
-BRANDY’S PREGNANT! After struggling with having kids, she’s finally gonna have a puppy of her own. I’m so happy for her. =)
-I do wonder what Trixie was arguing with Stripe about while Socks was playing with the cake toppers. Maybe she was still mad about him almost ruining the wedding by blabbing about Rad’s plans, or she was annoyed with his drunken shenanigans during the wedding.
-Sorry, Nana, no grandkids from Rad and Frisky yet, lol, but yay, they’re staying! Guess that means Rad’s getting a new job away from his old oil rig, too. Lot of big changes going on among the Heelers, but all they can do is wait and see what’ll happen.
    -DANCE MODE!
-Even Bandit’s not sure he’s doing the right thing anymore, but Chilli’s confident they can see it out together. These two are so wonderful together.
-Good grief, Stripe… Wendy goes through enough dealing with Bandit and his nonsense without having to deal with another goofball Heeler.
-Poor Bingo. She honestly didn’t know what it meant to sell their house, but once she realizes what it means, and how she’ll have to say goodbye to Lila, it’s heartbreaking…Lucky Bluey’s there to comfort her with Calypso’s story. That’s a good big sister right there.
-Looks like that lucky coin was lucky after all. It gave the sheepdogs a chance to spy a house better suited to their interests. As a bonus, it looks like Winton’s dad and the Terriers’ mom are officially living together. Hooray!
-The ending. So much to think about.
The Heelers saying goodbye to Pat, Wendy, and Judo before taking a last leave of the house, and then that last minute call.
Bandit slowly taking off the Sold sticker and ripping out and tossing away the For Sale sign all by himself.
Chilli tackling him and sobbing with joy.
Bluey and Bingo running all throughout the house in pure happiness.
The Heelers sitting down to takeaway over the kiwi rug, and while Bluey and Bingo have their usual fun, Bandit and Chilli sharing a loving gaze as their tails wag.
The whole sequence enhanced with the lovely vocals of Megan Washington, Calypso’s voice actress.
The Heelers are here to stay.

It actually could be the end of the show.
The thing is, S3 was finished 2 years ago! There has been no production for the show since. Joe Brumm has talked about taking a break from the show for a multitude of reasons (Kids V.A. getting older, and taking some time off to keep the quality of the show good and not rush another season out when everyone on the team is tired.) But the thing is, with it being so long since they worked on the show, Joe doesnt know if he wants to continue it, or if it's ready to wrap up.
On the other hand, BBC confirmed the show isn't canceled yet. Right now, Bluey as a show is currently worth BILLIONS, and knowing Disney, they won't let them go, so there's a chance Disney could buy the show from Joe. But TBH, I hope not. Last thing we need is for Disney to have control over this show.
But there are still some good news, we have a handful of mini episodes coming soon, and I'm sure it will be labeled as "season 4" on streaming service, even tho its only like 20 episodes that are half the length. Also, the crew of the show has mentioned potentially making a movie, and that this 28 minute episode is to test the wasters to see if people like longer stories from this show.
So I guess, we'll have to see :)

The episode didn’t put it in so many words, but one clear message is that sometimes, especially as you grow up, you don’t pursue what you really want-you settle for something else and try to assure yourself that “it’s for the best”. But sometimes, when you really want something badly enough, that could be a SIGN that that’s what’s really for the best after all, and not just for yourself but for your loved ones.
I appreciate your observations about Uncle Rad. I already liked everything I saw of him, but it was your observations that made me realize that he’s a kind of carefree sort who acts without thinking. I’m sure that, rather than anything worse, accounts for why he didn’t talk to Frisky about her moving out west with him. Clearly he has a lot of love to give, and he pays attention to what Frisky likes-he truly loves her. He just needs to adapt to being married to her-to literally “settle down”.
On the other hand, he’s still the same old Rad: he so loves Frisky that he up and quit his job to look for a new job in Brisbane, so he could move back and be with Frisky as she stays in the city she loves.
But Bandit isn’t quite that same type. He doesn’t just jump right into these big decisions: he thinks about it and weighs the pros and cons, and then he makes his decision. And even once he’s made it, he second guesses himself: “Am I making a mistake?” (Did Bucky Dunston have something to do with that?)
I’m more like Bandit in that regard. I’m starting to seriously consider whether I’m meant to be a teacher of some kind. I’ve been resisting the idea since I was a teenager, if not younger, but the idea keeps popping up in my life. Maybe I have it in me to be a good teacher given the right circumstances for my temperament (and especially if I rely on God’s grace more than I’ve been doing)? I don’t know, and I probably won’t know if I don’t try-but I’m still afraid to try. I’ve been burned more than once. Then again, my current life is definitely not what I had in mind for myself, and isn’t as fulfilling as it could be.
I think you’ve given me even more appreciation for Uncle Rad, with your observation about him. He has his flaws, to be sure, but even there he tries to work around them for the sake of his loved ones-all while remaining true to who he is as an individual, rather than trying to be someone he’s not.
I’ve seen this episode more than once, but I think I need to see it again and really pay attention to how I can apply the message in my own life.

The funny thing about Bob and Stripe ‘dancing like eagles’ is that it’s a reference to an Aussie wedding tradition. Pretzel having two mums was a detail that a lot of people miss because it was mentioned so casually. Nicely done.
Bucky Dunstan, the real estate agent, was voiced by Rove McManus. I’d mentioned the host of Rove Live in the TV Shop comments because of Carrie Bickmore voicing Mrs. Terrier, that was him. He was also the voice of a rude crab in Finding Nemo.
The promotion for the special went all out, including a listing for the house on Domain with a number to call with Bucky answering. After the episode, they mentioned on the site the listing has been removed. The listing even mentioned how the inside keeps changing.
Also, the thing about the men dancing like birds at the reception? At Aussie wedding receptions, two dances are tradition - Eagle Rock (the men drop their pants to their ankles and flap their arms) and Nutbush (doing The Madison to Nutbush City Limits).

I love the massive butterfly effect in this episode, first when Bingo and Lila save that catapillar which becomes a butterfly which causes the car to stop and then they find Frisk at the trial which cause the kids to jam a coin in the scope then the couple who almost bought the house uses the coin to see a house with a pool causing them to not buy their house alowing bandit to change his mind about the house and they get to stay!

I mentally smacked myself at the end when this first came out. I had forgotten on the episode when Lila met Bingo, it showed that they had many pictures together as they grew up. So that should have been a major clue for me that they weren’t going anywhere. I’ll be honest, part of me was hoping they were moving, because as much as it would have sucked, that’s life. Those things happen. You’re a small kid, and parent gets a new job, next thing you know, moving time. But for this cartoon, I’m pleased with the happy ending, because as Calypso pointed out, life gives us enough sad endings. And what’s awesome is those girls will have that in their memory always, while they tried to pull that sign out unsuccessfully, their Dad was not only strong enough to do it, but it was when he used it as a silent declaration that they weren’t going anywhere, they were going to stay.

Cornelius and Muffin are the unsung heroes of this special.
If Muffin hadn't got that coin stuck, the Sheepdog couple would've never seen Cornelius' house being for sale.
And Cornelius not only saved the Heelers' house from being sold, but the Sheepdogs from having to shave their fur constantly because Queensland/Brisbane DOES get scorching hot (no matter what Bucky " Big Mouth" Dunston says 😒). So it's better to have a pool than either sweating to death or having to go bald to cool down.

we finally made it, the ultimate Bluey experience. the amount of things this episode nails perfectly:
from a story perspective in how it shows both Bluey and Bingo's as well as Bandit and Chili's feelings about the entire situation in a realistic way, and the amount of payoffs it has to previous plot points all throughout the show like Frisky and Rad's relationship, Winton's dad and the Terriers' mom getting together, Bluey growing up.
to the callbacks/references to a lot of things that either contributed to the plot or just to the experience, like Winton mentioning back in season 2 having a pool, Bucky being the agent selling the house, Bandit throwing the sign paralleling the ending of Stickbird, Chili sad in the kitchen paralleling the ending of Baby Race, Greenie still flying high and exploring as a not to Mom School (and right after showing up Bluey comforting Bingo's feelings to add to the symbolism), etc etc etc
also i'll always love how during the whole episode Bandit and Chili tried to keep their emotions together for the girls, yet at the end it's both of them the ones showing the strongest emotions.
this episode is simply one of the greatest masterpiece of current animation history and truly a testament of the love and care that Ludo Studios puts in this show ^u^

some people did want to see bluey move because in life you wont always get lucky, but that is another point that was being made
life already gives us enough sad endings, and things like the wedding continuing, brandy being pregnant, bluey not moving, shows that it can be a happy ending for them
joe brumm also said he wanted bluey to be an anchor for some kids who really are moving, to show that the heelers will always be in that home
its hard to decide whether or not its a good move to give the kids a better life, bandit said the job payed more money and it could be good, but up rooting their entire life while already being very happy with it didnt seem very worth it in the end, and im glad bandit took the house being unsold as a *sign* to stop the entire process, even when they already had everything packed

Though the moment made me sob the first time i saw it, I was so proud of Bluey when she went to comfort Bingo. As an oldest sibling, I've had moments where I was sad, scared or stressed but put on a brave face bc my younger sibs needed me at that moment. But God, my heart BROKE for Bingo when she realized what was going on😭😭😭

This premiered two days before my boy was born, so you can imagine how that felt! When we watched, I wondered if the resolution would be that yes, Bandit and Chilli and the kids would still move, but that since Rad and Frisky had now had their discussion about staying in Brisbane, that THEY would take the house.
My father-in-law is retired military, so that meant my husband moved a lot as a kid - Husband said that last scene of the Heelers eating a takeout dinner on a flipped over box felt very familiar to him!

Also, Meg Washington, the voice actress of Calypso, sang the song "Lazarus Drug", and this is the ending portion of the song!

I don't know if you still can, but after this episode aired, you could for real life call Bucky's phone number and you would get a voice message from him to leave a message. People left him messages telling him they were interested in the Heeler house and also how they haven't forgiven him for being mean to Bandit when they were kids.

There will also be 21 new Mini episodes/Shorter episodes coming for the show in June and July ( depends what country you're in ) The people who work on Bluey are going on a hiatus so these minisodes will be sprinkled through most of the rest of the year until work on season 4 begins.

This episode made me cry so much:(
    Lemme tell you some things
Bandit and stickbird got a job from another city and that's why he was thinking about it
That's why he kinda thought of it selling it but after the ghost basket episode , bluey and bingo helped bandit that they didn't sell the house
And if bandit didn't call the phone then he would've moved to another city I think
And flappy helped chili where frisky is, since of Bingo and Lila helping the caterpillar and now it turned to a blue butterfly flying around them which means their friendship gets to last forever actually but maybe I'm wrong I don't know anything about luck but I just hope that its like that
Some people are mad that they didn't move but they didn't realize about the daddy dropoff episode then Lila and Bingo Friendship wouldn't last forever if they left to another city.
And I can't wait for you to watch the last episode
And if you do you should watch the bluey shorts which it has no seasons but it's not in a episode I think
And btw There's a Mini season of bluey where it's a short episode but it's fun and it's still great but I don't know when season 4 is coming soon though

While I disagreed with a number of fans about the idea that the Heelers *couldn't* move due to various elements - flashforwards to Bingo and Lila, new Bluey toys and attractions featuring the house and so on, I wasn't really expecting them to and think the show would still be great in a new setting.
With regard to Wendy, its not clear that the episodes are in chronological order - this could be from before she shaved or after it has had months to grow out again.
'Lazarus Drug' at the end is performed by Calypso's VA...
