    My advice for the next tournament on Indian lake would be try to find some good docks to fish under in coves off the main lake. Because one of the biggest large mouth I have ever hooked into was under a dock at Indian lake when I was 5years old on a rooster tail.

    • @thecreekcrawler
      @thecreekcrawler  Год назад

      Man I tried that! I couldn’t find anything and spent a few hours doing it. They seemed to be out in the channels of the cove. In deeper water. I did hook one in the video near some docks and it got off lol

      @@thecreekcrawler I hear ya, wait till you get to the Kiser Lake classic 😂. Some days that lake is on fire 🔥 , Some days nothing. Don't let the lily pads fool you , alot big carp in those area. I been waiting try the shallow areas past the beach. It's a swimbait and chatterbait lake my opinion.

    Good job Brian. Noticed you were setting the hook a little too hard and fast. Just my opinion. Your gear is top notch so rely on it more. Keep em wet and tight helps make em bite!😊

      Thanks for the advice! I enjoy looking at the mistakes after the fact. A handful of fish were just hitting too close to the boat. It’s hard to maneuver them into a net.

    How many rods do you usually bring for kayak fishing tournaments

    • @thecreekcrawler
      @thecreekcrawler  Год назад

      I have been taking 6-7 rods. I don’t have the opportunity to pre fish so having multi presentations available at a moments notice is nice. If I had a pattern dialed in and narrowed down I would only take probably 3-5.
