Watching you from Michigan and thank you for celebrating 🎉 each other and I’m so excited to see how many people have already seen your videos. I admire both of you for taking care of elderly parents. @@gretchenmariee Thank you for your lovely comment. We are thrilled that you found us and honored that so many people seem to like what we are doing. ❤️❤️
Thank you for speaking on setting boundaries with family member, and the importance of self care. Knitting and crochet has been my safe space to deal with stress. Even when my mom was critically ill and dying my knitting kept me from totally losing my composure and being present for my dad.
Thank you for your comment, Andrea. We are so pleased to hear our "advice" on the importance of setting boundaries, and self-care is absolutely necessary. Knitting and crocheting are indeed salve when dealing with stressful situations.
I too subscribed minutes into your episode. I am 43, a wife, mother, and a teacher who crochet for years before I starting knitting during the summer lockdown. I learned to slow down. My mind works too fast at times and knitting forced me to go at a “normal” pace. It has calmed my anxiety about motherhood and it has given me the courage to launch a new course, RUclips channel as well as co-author a textbook. I could not imagine not having yarn, needles and hooks in my life❤❤❤. Thank you for your courage to share yourself with these streets 😊😊😊
Congratulations… I am so proud of you two! I don’t knit or crochet but it’s the “pure joy” that emanates from your spirits for me. Our world needs more joy, especially after the recent election. I have learned that art expression is healing and laughter is necessary. Life is hard, but God always provides a way to get through. Thank you for being obedient to this “calling.” I am eager to witness your continued success. Ooo-oop!!🙏🏽😘
My goodness!!! Laugh out loud with you both!!! I love your cast on to go along with Peaches!!! That would be me!!! 🤦♀️knitting has taught me to be mindful, present and relaxed… its such a wonderful feeling when the yarn, colors and new creations flow thru your hands… big hugs! 💜
Knitting teaches me self love and it also helps me find out what my preferences, likes and dislikes are. I grew up with a bit of a hole in the spot where self worth and having your own individuality sit. And now, sweater by sweater and shawl by shawl, I develop a sense that I can have nice comfortable beautiful things for myself. And I find out what my preferences are, and how I can knit things that meet my preferences and comfort me. Knitting is invaluable.
Greetings Lovely Ladies! I'm from NYC and my knitting friend/best friend sent me this link and warned me that I'd LOL from the start, and I have! What I've learned from knitting and crocheting (and other crafts) is how to start and FINISH projects. I have ADHD and I'm easily distracted and a have a lot of UFOs, that I've abandoned. But, now that I'm retired, I have much more time & I'm slowly working through them. The projects I no longer like/want, I donate to knitting charities, so someone else can enjoy them. Thanks for the laughter and joy! ❤❤❤❤
Yay, episode 2! Come for the knitting, stay for the laughter and the sagacity! The other thing I'd suggest to Pamela is to remember that she doesn't have to be the one who does everything. Adult children can (and should!) contribute mental and physical and emotional labour into the holiday or the occasion. Delegate everything you can, so you can focus on the things that require your particular combination of knowledge, skill, and personality. I hope her Thanksgiving went well!
@@WendyBarron14 Thanks for sharing your wisdom, which is one of the many reasons this can be a remarkable community. More than knitting, drinking, and shit-talking, we can share our experiences in a loving and affirmative way. ❤️
Knitting has taught me calm and focus. I have stage 4 cancer and I picked up knitting 4 years ago when I started treatment. I honestly don’t know what I would do without it. That and laughter. So I thank you for the laughter you have brought to RUclips. And from the looks of the messages you have already made a huge impact and a great change from the norm on here. Carrie, we are sending you love and laughter in huge measure as you tackle cancer. There is definitely a place for you in our Two Sistahs Talkin Shit family, and when we decide on a name for our followers, you will be one of us! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I’ve learned through knitting that I can face the worst of the worst of the worst-like frogging an almost completed sweater after realizing it just isn’t working, and not die or fall apart. Whatever I’m facing in my knitting and in life in general, someone has faced similar situations or worse with perhaps more courage, faith and grace, knowing that everything is going to be alright! You two are uplifting! Thank you! Rosie BTW I’m from Orcas Island, WA BEAUTIFUL!!!
Knitting and crochet has taught me that I can learn anything. Nothing is out of my reach. It also feels like I'm connecting to creation, which makes me think about all of the divine creation 💖
Hello ladies. This is Kelly, your southern neighbor in The Villages, Florida. I love the laughter and banter. Like many others, my knitting and crocheting have taught me that it's OK to frog if you're not happy with the results (which drives my non-crafting wife crazy), but it's also OK if your result is not perfect. My mom, who taught me to knit at age 12, used to tell me that it it's too perfect nobody will believe it's hand-made. Great show!
@@KellyWaugh-qd1od I totally agree with your mom!! TSKTS call mistakes “design features.” 🤣 Thanks for your comment and watching our lil ol’ podcast! ❤️

Hi it's your favourite niece from England here, smiling from ear to ear after knitting with you, or I was knitting at least 😆 So many laughs thank you for another instalment of shenanigans! Knitting has been so important in my life, it helped teach me that I was a creative person, that I could learn new skills as an adult, make new friends as well as make lovely things! Already looking forward to your next episode, thank you for being brave and hitting publish, hope it was easier this time 🥰

Self taught knitter many years ago so my first born could have lovely cabled sweaters. Knitted off and on for years but revitalized my now obsession about 14 years ago. Went down the rabbithole of trying to spread the joy of knitting and knitting for people who just aren't knitworthy. I've learned this is a special gift you develop overtime and what you create is special.
Hey ya'll! Watching from Conyers, GA. Im a seasoned crocheter (37 years) and a baby knitter...we talking Similac! 😂 Knitting & crocheting has taught me that there is beauty in every stitch. Every mistake, every WIP, every stage is intrinsically beautiful. ❤
Love that you two ladies take care of your mom's. I take care of my mom also and a sister with special needs. And I love it. Crochet has been a help to me when stressed. I also am trying to learn to knit
It is great to find so much joy with you two ladies in a world of uncertainty. Thank you!! I have learned that if things/projects become frustrating it is ok to cut it loose.

I L💗VE y’all’s joy!! I think I’m gonna like it here. ShKnitters let’s GO!! Just the episode I needed to encourage me 2 grab my 1st ever WiP cardigan and get back to it. One panel finished but I got scared to cast on panel2 so haven’t touched it. Here goes 🎉🎉
Hi from Springfield, Ohio. I am primarily a papercrafter but do more fiber crafts in the winter. I just finished a book called “Wintering” by Katherine May that talked about the mental health and physical health benefits of knitting. That led me to start another book called “knitting for radical self care” by Brandi Cheyenne Harper. Knitting teaches me patience and, like Peaches said last time, gives me the chance to embrace imperfections.
I was so excited to see your new episode had posted! I love your personalities and while I don't even knit, I love seeing your projects! I started crocheting last December and, for some reason, this is the first craft that doesn't frustrate me when I make mistakes. I find I've gotten gentler with myself as I get older and just see it as a learning experience. If nothing else, I know what not to do next time.
I just can’t! I saw your video dropped and this is my treat Thanksgiving morning in my quiet time! I just cannot convey the brightness you both bring! Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours! Oh my! If you haven’t worked with the Purl Soho Linen Quill you will love it! It’s a little rough working with it but after it’s blocked! I made the Half and Half Wrap and it is absolutely my go to Shanket! It would really, take too long to tell you ladies what my knitting has done for me! Suffice it to say, it literally has saved my life! I have always done some type of fiber craft. I, like most started with crochet over . . .hold onto your hats . . .50 years ago! I’m sweating just writing that! I have been knitting now 45 years. As we raised our 3 beautiful sons, the crafts were put aside. I had an incident a little over 16 years ago and have knit every day since! And while, I am not taking care of a parent I am taking care of my dear husband. He had a stroke a little over two years ago! And can I just say how truly blessed we are! Things could have been so very different! But I can honestly say I know in my heart I could not have gotten through this without, first My Lord and savior, but my knitting is my go to! When I need to get out of my own way I will pick a pattern that takes my concentration, and when it’s just time to sit and enjoy I choose an easier project! And how many projects do I have on needles . . .well a lady never tells does she!
We are so pleased that you are in our circle and thank you for your kind words. We also appreciate all that you’ve shared about how knitting has saved your life and the other challenges you’ve faced. We look forward to having you as part of this community and wish you a joyous holiday season. Oh and yes! We feel the same way you do about Linen Quill!!!😂😂😂❤❤❤
LOVE LOVE LOVE you ladies so much!! Thank you for the laughter and fun chat! I know your channel will grow and grow! My knitting has taught me to adapt as I go along - in projects and in life too!
I have never enjoyed a podcast as much as I enjoy you ladies! I would have the best time knitting with you both! I knit and crochet and they have taught me to accept that mistakes will happen, and its not the end of the world when they do! The group name knitters and shitters made me nearly need to run to the bathroom from laughing so hard! Thank you for brightening my day! Looking forward to the next podcast!
I needed this ladies - you’re both such a delight! And you had me at Knitters & Shitters - stop looking for anything else because that’s perfect. Happy Thanksgiving!

Hello Sorors! Candice from Northern VA checking in! I have never hit the subscribe button so fast!!! I have three main hobbies. I sew, crochet, and read! My hobbies have taught me that I need to prioritize my me time. Being able to create something with my hands is so truly meaningful. Seeing my children wear the garments that I have made or having someone compliment something I made and being able to respond "thanks I made it" have really made me proud!
What has knitting taught me? It hasn't taught me anything about me but it has helped me be more laissez faire about my making. I'm a process knitter so am more interested in learning new skills and becoming more adept at techniques than being perfect or creating perfect items. // I'm glad you spoke about caring for your moms (and with such love). I think a lot of people don't understand REALLY that you have finite time with your parents, so embracing the moments is important. That SA poncho really is lovely. Regina, don't you have any family or friends who are knit worthy? Or are those hats just ploys to meet those guys 😏? Ladies, your friendship is cool. (And over time, the kinks will work themselves out with the recording and long laughing jags 😆 So keep on!) Happy holidays to you both! (And salute to your moms for rearing cool daughters 👏🏾👍🏾🤗)
I'm Lisa from Oregon, when ep 2 dropped I was so excited! I love both of your ladies' style, humor, and willingness to put yourselves out there and share your friendship and yarny adventures with us! I taught myself to knit from a book, because I'm old like that 😅. It happened during a really painful time in my life where I just couldn't stop crying, I just hurt so bad. As I learned to knit, the tears finally faded and I've never looked back. I sometimes tell folks knitting saved me, and it's continued to do so. I am still learning and I feel like there is so much to look forward to and learn in knitting (and all those other hobbies I play with), that it helps keep my postmenopausal brain ticking!! Thanks again for sharing with us!❤
Lisa, thank you for sharing such a personal story about your knitting journey. You are a part of our podcast life and we’re so happy to welcome you ❤❤❤❤
I've laughed and laughed watching your podcast. I have 2 knitting friends and we spend lots of time laughing together. I'm 66 years old and I've been knitting for over 40 years, knitting has taught me to relax and enjoy every stitch even if I have to pull it out. I knit every day. It's so lovely your able to look after your mums. How old are they? Love Marion xxx

Hi- I’m watching from Iowa and loving this. Lots in common- taking care of parents, knitting, lots of ufo’s and being a lady of a certain age😂😢😅. I started knitting seriously 23 years ago when my son passed and it was and is very calming and therapeutic. It focuses my mind and allowed me a period of lessened grief. Now it is comforting, calming and a creative outlet. Enjoying you ladies immensely.

Wonderful. Just wonderful. So wonderful to see this beautiful relationship on RUclips. Hello from Australia.
Love your show, your energy and your laughter. Y’all make my heart happy! Keep having fun and sharing it with us.
Thanks so much!!❤
LOVE LOVE LOVE you ladies so much!! Thank you for the laughter and fun chat! I know your channel will grow and grow! My knitting has taught me to adapt as I go along - in projects and in life too!
You two are a delight, I love your joyful presentation. Louise from Western Australia xxx
I use my crocheting to still my never stopping brain/thoughts. Love 'knittahs and shittahs'
We are so glad that you are enjoying our podcast! ❤❤❤ Welcome to our world 😂😂😂
I needed this ladies - you’re both such a delight! And you had me at Knitters & Shitters - stop looking for anything else because that’s perfect. Happy Thanksgiving!
Another great episode! I have learned that sometimes you need to fix things and sometimes you need to let it go and love that little imperfection.
Hi from Michigan! You two had me cracking up again! Have a wonderful holiday and hope you have time to relax and knit. 🧶😊
Love the energy ! Happy and uplifting and all the sh*t. lol
Love it !
I taught myself to knit and have been knitting 2 yrs now. I learn you need a lot of patience and persistence.
Thanks for sharing!!❤
Hello Sorors! Candice from Northern VA checking in! I have never hit the subscribe button so fast!!! I have three main hobbies. I sew, crochet, and read! My hobbies have taught me that I need to prioritize my me time. Being able to create something with my hands is so truly meaningful. Seeing my children wear the garments that I have made or having someone compliment something I made and being able to respond "thanks I made it" have really made me proud!
Great to see you, Soror from NOVA!!!! Thrilled that you’re part of our community!
❤❤❤ enjoyed your new episode thank you 🥰
What has knitting taught me?
You are a part of our podcast life and we’re so happy to welcome you ❤❤❤❤
Wonderful ❤🎉love your idea and creativity content
Thank you! Cheers!
Hey Sistahs it nice to watch and stitch with you.
🤗
I've laughed and laughed watching your podcast. I have 2 knitting friends and we spend lots of time laughing together. I'm 66 years old and I've been knitting for over 40 years, knitting has taught me to relax and enjoy every stitch even if I have to pull it out. I knit every day. It's so lovely your able to look after your mums. How old are they? Love Marion xxx
Awesome episode!!!
You ladies brighten my day! I will reach out to my contacts for Andre, Usher, and Snoop. 🤣 I used to get nervous before pressing the publish button. It's normal. I really enjoyed this episode. 🧶 Knitting and crocheting has taught me patience and to give myself grace. 💜
@@QueensYarnBoutique We love you!!!
Thank you so much for making me laugh, you both are a joy to watch. I'm also a perfectionist and knitting is trying to teach me to let go of that. Watching from Cape Cod.

Omg y’all are hella funny!!!!! Makes my day!! So looking forward to more!!!!

Happy holidays! And we’re glad to have you in our community!❤❤
So nice yo see you sistahs. Knitting (and crochet) has taught me patience and not to be afraid to unwind the yarn and start over. Tomorrow is a brand new day. That was ready good advice the way! Looking forward to seeing you soon.
Good to see you girls again and happy Thanksgiving from Anderson, South Carolina 😊
❤❤❤ awe so glad you are back🥰
Hey from Philadelphia. I’m working on my Turkey Trot 2024 the knitted V-neck. And laughing with you. You both look beautiful.
@@yvettejiggetts6593 Awwww thank you ❤️ Great to have you with us!
Love your title so much. You both had me laughing the whole way through, keep the s**t coming to Australia 🇦🇺
We will definitely keep the shit coming! Thanks for joining us all the way from Australia!
❤️❤️❤️
❤🌻❤🌻
Oh ladies, you have made my week! I love watching you so much, and am laughing along with you.
I have learned that I am worthy enough to take time for myself.
That part!!!!❤❤❤
Ooooooo the drink looks great!! I’m gonna try this!!
Melodye from Maryland - I laughed out loud from the beginning! I needed it! Crafting takes me out of myself. I let my concerns drfit away and get lost in the process - a mini vacation. Thanks again!!❤❤
You gals are fab-u-lous! Knittin’ and talkin’ shit are two of my favorite things. My other favorite knitting podcast is Chevyrell’s Stuff. She calls what she does a shit show and she also pours a special drink each time. Hmmm. This may say a lot about me. Lol. You all make me laugh out loud. Keep it up. And thanks.
Thank you for your kind words! Will def check out Shit Show! That’s hilarious!😂😂❤
Knitting (and I only started around five weeks ago, after being a dedicated crocheter for about 15 years) has taught me that it’s okay to start over again if I’m not happy with my work.
Such an important life lesson.
You two are pure joy to watch ❤ keep talking sh*t ladies 👍
Sorors! Viewing from SC. Also a yarn snob and recovering perfectionist. Knitting inspires and stretches me.
Never been so glad to see you again. You both will help me get through the coming year. Your laughter is the best medicine❤
What about Shitz Knitters?
I have learned that perfection is not “made with Love” (still have to remember this) and knitting is not a race! Love you both. I also learned if caring for parents having a sense of human is essential❤❤❤😘
Happy Thanksgiving!
You guys are great. Love the podcasts
Laughter? Talking shit?? Instant subscription ;-)
Aren't they simply the best?! 😉 Thanks for the subscription. 😂
I love it!!!
Congratulations on episode #2, love it. Happy Thanksgiving from my family and I, in Canada.
Y’all are too funny. You cracking yourselves and me up. How many glasses have you all had!?!
