1. Mileena x Tanya would be 100% canon
2. So the ship (and Tanya for that matter) wouldn’t be boring to your average shipper.

I highly prefer Mileena's non tarkat voice. It'd be nice if we got that in the intros.
The intros are implied to take place after the main story, so after Mileena decided to stop taking the Tarkat supresant, so it makes sense that her voice is more Tarkatan-like.

This should have also had their tower endings as well since they're canon.
The tower endings really don't touch on their romance: Mileena's ending focuses on her helping the Tarkatans and revealing her own illness, while Tanya's focuses on investigating the Umgadi matrons and clearing Li Mei's name.

Nah. It’s just setting boundaries. To Sindel, it seems that it would be too personal for an Umgadi to be concerned with Mileena’s health when Tanya is just a bodyguard. It’s like a bodyguard is doing a doctor’s job.

Mileena has alternatives if she or Kitana don't have children, given she could name a collateral heir, relations from an aunt/uncle/cousins, for example, or groom an adopted heir as Shao Kahn did in prior timelines.
@ES-dp6tw it'd be a neat reversal if they adopted one of Shao's relatives since he has siblings as stated in his intro dialogue, they could have a child that survived an attack and are then raised by Mileena's household, like how the Emperor raised Kitana in the prior timelines

Well she's mixed with that race. That's just how their voices sound. Her voice has always had an animalistic sound to it. Her Tarkartan accent is less pronounced now that she has lips. She sounds somewhat normal.

Ok if I can be genuine for however long it takes me to type this out. This is honestly how a same gender/sex relationship. It's done subtlety and not forced down our throats like so much of this woke bullshit we're seeing in Disney now. There's being inclusive and then there's just being woke. This is the former in my opinion. It's given time to flesh out and we end cheering for it. Another example is Charlie and Vaggie from Hazbin Hotel. Their relationship is given time to flesh out and we end up being along for the ride. We find ourselves being genuinely invested and hoping they never break up. There are far too many who write this kind of relationship and get it so wrong that we reject it. There is nothing wrong with same sex/gender relationships, but there is everything wrong with awful writing.
