My son and his best friends and my closest friends have been playing/collecting this game since day one. We still play via Zoom. I appreciate your posting this video. It should be more familiar with people more than it is. It presents endless scenarios. Good job sir!
@azurah485 well, the two (or more) players agree on the same map. They build their teams and then tell the other player what they are using. Both players put BOTH teams onto the map, according to each players placement. When either player moves a piece, the other player moves that piece according to where the other player placed it. It's kind of like mirroring each other. We tilt our laptop screens downward, so that we can show the other player our maps and dice results. I always make sure my opponent can see my dice. Trust is paramount. Set the timer or play to last man standing like we do. You'll need a monthly/yearly subscription to ZOOM, so that you don't get timed out. Let me know if you have any questions.
I find myself more interested in wanting to collect these rather than play with them I think. But I did just get a play at home kit and a single gladiator hulk figure since he looked pretty cool. I'm excited to check it out!
Dayum, watching this video and hearing you say its been around for around 21 years informs me that I have been down with this game since practically day 1. I only collect now but I wish I had a way to play it again
2 thumbs up and thank you. I play Heroclix since 2002, stopped around 2007 and returned in 2012, been playing since then non stop and yes, agree, is really underrated. The figures are getting better with every expansion, the rule set is amazing, tournaments, gifts for everyone and great prices for the winners, etc. I have a decent collection and love the game. November expansion "Wheels of vengeance" Ghost rider related is one of the finest I have seen. Cheers.
I love Heroclix. But… The power creep in the sets are a real issue. For example the street fighter sets are next to useless if Faced with modern figures.
That seems like a fun scenario. The hexagon map seems like it might be wonky with some of the rules. DC 75th was my 2nd or 3rd set after starting to play. So fun. I pulled chase while lantern green arrow and he pulled off a critical hit pulse wave. Now I pulled the black lantern version in my sealed for Notorious, which I think is cool.
It was such a laugh, had a great time with it! Yeah the hexes and other 3D maps we’ve used in past have caused some issues to come up tbf haha That’s really cool, it’s come full circle!
As a member trying to get more people into the game, i really appretiate this video. I lovw seeing my game being promoted.
Heroclix is one of the best games ever. People really need to give it a try

That’s awesome you all get to share that - it’s definitely an underrated game, one I’ve played for forever as well, again with friends and family!

You've opened my eyes to the map set up! T Y !!!
This is definitely a game that has an abysmal online presence but actually surprisingly good word of mouth
1:11 “you will not be able to put Marcus Fenix against Superman in any other scenario.”
Fortnite: *are you sure about that*

The map is not heroclix! 😅
I was just thinking "how different would it feel to play with Hexagons instead of squares.
