As a fellow TSX owner, you help give me motivation to want to build and track my daily frfr. Keep it up, don't the grind. Remember, our Chassis is uber slept on. #TSXGANGWorldwide
I was behind you on the HDPE 3 at 2:15 pm Start time on Sunday. You were behind a red Coyote Mustang with a tall wing and he was way slower than you and you kept hitting the gas pedal and let go and hitting the gas pedal and let go(he was slowing you down), I was behind like 150-200 yards. Your car is fast, I was on a silver GR86 and I was hiding 117mph on the straights but you were even slightly faster also on the straights. I was literally to your right before the start parked in an angle. If I remember right you even had a passenger.
Yup, that was me! I’m in TT5 and we get DQ’d if we have a passenger so I asked Ravi if I could take my brother out for a ride in that session. He said it was fine as long as I remembered the side by side drill lol. I knew the mustang was gonna drag me on the straight so I made sure I was filling his mirrors on turns 1 and 2 so he’d give me a point-by haha
@@tylerhinz212 Your car is fast. I have a fast 8th gen SI with Kraftwerks S/C on custom E-85 tune, Wilwood 6 piston brakes (you have AP Racing) and other good stuff but I did not bring it on Sunday. Your TSX is more track ready than my 8th gen though. Even though I have good stuff like Enkeis, 200TW tires sway bars, progress , etc, etc you got me on tires too(you had the Nankang RC1s didn't you? You are flying on the curves and you have a lot of speed on the straights too. I took the Civic SI to independence Motorsports and it was terrible, I was boosting 2psi less and I had 144 count of knock. It didn't feel that fast, I think the 4500 ft elevation messes up the tune. It was only fast the first lap.
@@rs3tuber425 There's definitely a lot I have done to this car but still more room to go faster in TT5. I can lose about 100lbs at my current power level and remain legal. Or I can add aero and be pretty much maxed out. You should take the civic out next time we're at Podium Club, or even take it to INDE in May. I'll be there with NASA in May and at Radford this weekend.
@@tylerhinz212 On my last trip to Inde I picked a terrible choice of tires (Federal 595s but with too tall of a sidewall(45) plus I was testing for the first time the firmer seeting of my 3 way progress rear sway bar. Between the tall sidewall and the very stiff sway bar I wasn't really staying down on the ground, I was lifting the inner rear tire hard. I have seen your car on the curves , you are well planted, your speed on the curves is high. I am never putting tall sidewall again, I did it to "increase" the gear ratio and make the gear taller because I needed it for the supercharger. You are in a whole different league, your car is a true race car, mine is fast but is more of a hybrid set-up for daily driving and track but not a hardcore track car like yours. Obviously my car is much drivable because all my interior is there, A/C cruise control, etc, etc but like I said, I seen your videos and I seen your car next to mine and at the track and your car means business. Next time I'll stop by to say hello. If I were to go to Inde I would only have my chance on the straight but you would kick my ass the entire rest of the track, you will virtually lose me. Despite all my good bolt ons my car is not even close to your level, you truly built that car for the track. For instance, I don't even have camber bolts of adjustable top hats..lol.
This loos so fun. Great vid.
Thanks, Tyson. Would love to get you in the car one of these days

@5:28 oh snap 😮
That tumbleweed was distracting lol probably why I missed 5th right there
Do you do all your braking before the corner or you do some trail braking? Curious what you found best to get the car to rotate
I trail brake in most places, but it just depends on the corner
