Like many other I used to criticize Walmarts ability to crush competition on the small mom and pop stores. Sam was up against massive chains and he kicked there ass. Great story
I had heard a lot about "Mr. Sam'" from very long term employees who I've worked with at Walmart. Now I can see why they loved and revered him so much, especially during the man in his own words. But I think Mr. Sam are you turning over in his grave in he knew what Walmart has become now. Still very rich yes but a shit hole of an employer.
