One question to you or to the community: it's been three years since this reviews. Some people say the zippers on the lower part breaks easily. Thanks for the review! I have been eyeing on this bag for awhile, and so far your video is the best review i have seen. After you detach the bottom compartment, do you think the bag looks weird or ugly with the one-sided zipper visible at the bottom? This has been my concern about this bag. As for the sleeve, I would prefer it to be a padded compartment on the side so that the laptop won't be wobble around when the bag is not full. And
I agree, the padded laptop pocket with Velcro strap was more secure on the bigger weekender but the removable sleeve is great if you’re using this as a work tote! The zipper isn’t too obvious when the bottom compartment is removed bc the piping kinda covers it, i had it flipped up in the video I think. It’s a great bag overall! Thanks so much for watching 💞🤗
I was able to look at this bag in person at Nordstrom, and the piping does flip down to cover the zipper. I think the bag looks great both with the compartment and without :)

How well do each of the bags, (the mini and the original) fit under the seat in front of you on a plane. Can they be used as a personal bag or are they so. It that they need to go in the overhead compartment?
I think it really depends on the plane but if the weekender bag is fully stuffed it definitely would not fit underneath the seat, and would need go in the overhead compartment. Other RUclipsrs have been able to fit the weekender but not at max capacity. The mini weekender definitely fits though! Thanks so much for watching =)

It depends on your preference and what you plan to pack but you should also consider what you plan to bring home - I brought a medium sized rolling luggage with me for as my maternity hospital bag bc I knew I’d bring back extra diapers, wipes, and freebies and people might send gifts to the hospital. So for me the mini weekender would have been too small lol 🤗

Thank you! I think if you're a minimalist you can probably get away with the mini weekender with 2 babies however it doesn't have much organization for bottles and other baby items. I would need the larger weekender for travel with 2 kids but it does get heavy! I will be traveling with the weekender soon and plan to film another video about it so hopefully that will help! I wonder if the mini weekender can be hold in your hand without dragging on the ground? I personally prefer shorter and smaller straps so it could be easier to hold and doesn't sway too much
Ok so I just tried hand holding it and for me, with the bottom attached, it touches the ground unfortunately - however I’m very short (5’0”) so it would depend on your height and arm length! If I were 5 inches taller it would be perfect 🤣

Abi Isaacson I just received my mini weekender my 15 inch MacBook does not fit in the laptop sleeve provided but it does fit in the laptop compartment inside the bag only.
I have one and when the bag is full or even half full if you take that bottom off it is very difficult to reattach the bottom so I would not do that again. I have arthritis in my hands but it took 2 of us to wrangle the bottom back on.

I go down New Jersey shore every summer for a month from Arizona every year of August but there no laundry exists hopefully they can hook up new washer dryer we have by next summer they couldn't yet cause it opsit of what we have hook up of gas and it electric laundry. and laundromat is close by us so we have wait for uncle get back sometimes he come down every few days since live near close by other then that weekend bag would work for my camping :) i love that bag any tips for packing for Jersey shore for next time? i go every summer for a month of august it in 80s but very humidity
I still think the mini would be too big for me I hope they realease an even smaller size since I love the removable bottom feature. I can pack a week's worth of clothes on a small packing cube 😅

The bottom part can be stuffed inside the bag if need be but the fit isn’t ideal - it would have to be folded or placed sideways diagonally 🤗

I go down New Jersey shore every summer for a month from Arizona every year of August but there no laundry exists hopefully they can hook up new washer dryer we have by next summer they couldn't yet cause it opsit of what we have hook up of gas and it electric laundry. and laundromat is close by us so we have wait for uncle get back sometimes he come down every few days since live near close by other then that weekend bag would work for my camping :) i love that bag any tips for packing for Jersey shore for next time? i go every summer for a month of august it in 80s but very humidity

I still think the mini would be too big for me I hope they realease an even smaller size since I love the removable bottom feature. I can pack a week's worth of clothes on a small packing cube 😅
