That’s Awesome. I put those round wide angle mirrors from the parts store. I didn’t know these mirrors existed. I’ll have to buy a set. I don’t know why the factory doesn’t install them from the factory.
@@Mumfy64 Years ago I had a car that had horrible rear view mirrors, so I bought the Biggest Round blind spot mirror that would fit in the mirrors and solely used those to see. It was Great
If we don't want the sequential on the mirror can those two wires just be trimmed up and shoved behind the mirror? I have the BSM and heated but don't see an option to not opt out of that turn signal and i don't really care for it
@@Mumfy64 Yes they do. Am still getting used to them (it's a big difference) but won't go back. Almost didn't buy them with the turn indicator, but I did, and the wiring was easy and glad I got that option. By the way, I purchased them based on your video. Thanks for that. Great job.
How's the blue tint on them? Is it bearable and does it really work with reducing night glare? Also, can you see your rear tires with this? I'm using spotter mirror to see my rear tires
The blue tint is fine on them and they really do help with night glare. As for seeing the rear tires, it depends on how you angle them. I can see them partially with where I have the set.
dumb question....if my current 2023 Tacoma just has basic mirrors with no signal or blindspot indicators on it, would these features be able to be wired and be functional with these mirrors?
@Mumfy64 which do you like better. I already have the hidden 32inch led light bar and ditch lights from caliraised. Just looking for a nice roof rack and have heard issues with caliraised rack so I'm open to your thoughts and opinions
@@Lkom24 I really like the Trailrax roof rack. It has a 90° bend for strength and for adding other accessories. (Trailrax had this before the Prinsu Pro) plus they are having their 4th sale going on. Link to the rack alnk.to/bEgJxll
Hey Mumfy, my 2023 TRD sport did not come with blind spot monitoring on the side mirrors Could I buy these so I can get that feature or no because I don’t have the factory wiring
The wiring was the easy part. Getting the Driver side mirror out was more difficult. When disconnecting the defrost prongs, take your time. I broke the posts off the stock mirror, so I can't use that side if i decide to put the stock mirrors back on. (I don't think I will though)
I had an issue on my passenger side and ended up tearing the defrost plugs off the mirror in order to separate them. Since I’m not going back to stock it isn’t an issue.
@@Mumfy64 makes sense I just didn’t wanna risk it I thought I could do both sequential turn signals and switch the mirrors after work I’ll give that a try this weekend with more time
Awesome product. Bought a set a month ago and have had a chance to install yet. I have a weather related question. Can these be installed in severe cold (below 20 degrees or colder) or is it best to wait till temps are above 45 degrees ?
@Mumfy64 Thank you, I have to agree. I'll wait till temps warm up. We are at 8 degrees with a windchill of 25 below today. Was colder ladt couple of days.
I have a 2017 SR5 and do not have these functions on my sideview mirrors. Can I get all these feature's if I buy new sideview mirrors with the turn signal, heated and the BSM?
Unfortunately, you'll need to have the wiring for those features in order for them to work. Does your SR5 have the turn signals in the side mirror? If so, then you might be able to at least get the sequential lights to work.
Cool. I just broke that side mirror backing through a narrow gap. My dog likes to block the camera view and the mirror lol so it might not help me see through my dog hahaha
Time for a transparent dog. Lol. I will say that after getting used to the difference in view angle, I can back into parking spots much easier. I can see the parking lines without having to sit forward in the seat like with the stock mirrors.
That is true and took me a bit to adjust. Once I have figured out where a car position was when it left my rear view and comparing that to where it is in the side mirror, it made it much easier to adjust to the distortion.
I had these mirrors sitting on my bookshelf almost 2 years. Reappeared on my recommended so I finally felt compelled to install them.
Appreciate the love! 😎
Awesome as always! Thanks Mumfy!
Very helpful thank you, but did you notice only the driver side had the metal tabs and passenger side didn’t ?
These are sweet!!
Yes they are!
That’s pretty sick bro! 👍
Yeah it is

Yes, if you don’t want the turn signals to light up, you can tuck the wires away or trim them off.
Just installed mine and I LOVE them.

I am not sure what is behind the basic mirrors. They could be wired for it or they may not be.
That is crazy sick
I had to return this because the cable for the heating mechanism wouldn’t come off my old mirrors, wish they could’ve worked
Do these help with towing a camper? Right now I’m using clip on mirror extenders and I’m looking into alternative options
They have helped me when towing a 14' flatbed trailer.
Just ordered a set for my Tacoma!
You’re gonna love ‘em!!
Is it safe to use quick splice connectors instead?
What roof rack with light bar is that.? Caliraised?

Convex mirrors can mess with your depth perception - how much adjusting did it take to get used to the difference?

Great question. it does not interfere with the function of the BSM.

Looks like the price has increased since they have launched. Must be due to supply issues.
