Russia is in shortage of engines and other military equipment due to ongoing war with Ukraine and material supplies due to sanctions. Till that war is settled and Russia is back on its feet its not a good idea to get anything from Russia that needs maintenance and Russian parts.

@@danish_mohammed That's not the issue. Pakistan already bought 4 Mi 35 Hind helicopter from Russian back in 2018. The real problem is the hard cash. Russians don't pay attention on debt financing. If you have money, you can simply go and buy Russian helicopters. But The Ukrainian war has changed Russian priorities for now. Their factories are manufacturing arms for their frontline troops.

Pakistan is clever, not because they choose chinese z10e, pakistan wants to develop relationships with turkey as Turkey is a nato member and operate nato stand equipements and pakistan used to be armed by america mainly, so they might hope to get some of the nato equipements to fix their equipements that run out of parts.
Z10e is a very good helicopters and now the engine is fixed and more powerful avionics are installed. Pakistan attacked helicopters do not need to be heavy weight as it is only use against india.
I think that the best attack helicopters are Russians.

This is not the fact. USA issued license to re-export USA origin helicopter engines for Philippines Army. The actual issues was Political and Indian Lobbying against Pakistan. As India has far more influence in American houses because India is American biggest arms buyer from Giant companies. Which doesn't want Pakistan to be in credible defence position or balance of Power.
Pak Navy uses Z9 Dolphin Chinese helicopters in large numbers. It means that Pakistan has sufficient knowledge & capabilities of maintaining Chinese helicopters. Besides, 3 Z10s were gifted to Pakistan in 2017 by China. It shows that Pakistan must have acquired its maintenance platform too.
