i remember making these earrings for my friend and the beginning of high school a couple years back. you can also use yarn to make your own pom poms and get creative with the colours though it's a bit messier to trim them into spheres

This is a quick tip about opening jump rings, use two sets of pliers to open and close them. Using one set can sometimes warp the metal and it's easier if you have two sets as you have better control over how far the metal bends.
Hey! I'd like to suggest something for your next Make/Thrift/ Buy I've been hearing a lot about the new inflatable hoodie. You know the one you blow into it to inflate the hood for sleep on the go? It retails for $60 but I think you can make it a lot cheaper. I hope you'll consider this ☺

Dear Annika, ID thought I'd just let you know that the pliers you were using have built in cutting tool, so you don't have to butcher those poor scissors anymore. Most crafting pliers have them built in for cutting chain or wire for jewlry. Thought I'd let you know : )
The pliers you were using have a cutting section at their base near to the hinge? most of them have this small flattened cutting section away from the tips. No more blunted scissors!! Hope this helps :-)
