Jesus 34k for average wage! I’m way behind that! That’s crazy, after tax im on £1600, but before tax im on like 24k and this is the best pay job I’ve had… and no matter how many times I try to look for a better job I never get it, but I do invest and I do save
@@MitchShoesmith I’m a folk truck driver in Yorkshire, I think it works out around £12.43 an hour something like that. (I’m 26) I have premium bonds which I started in November, I have 2 isa accounts, one that has around 4.03% and then 1 that has over 5%, but one of my goals is trying to get that Santander edge which is 7% but they rejected that so I might ring them up and ask what I’d need to be accepted. I started up an emergency fund account, got a stocks and shares isa account and a personal pension

That’s quite average for a forklift driver here in the south west, however housing costs are a lot more down here. There is shift work in manufacturing industry you can earn around £2,000+ here though.
One thing I suppose to consider though via a works pension scheme, is the employer contributions.. which helps reduce the monthly amount you would pay in order to receive larger amounts when hitting retirement.
📈 I’ve only very recently started to look at investing as a 21 year old, I know there’s many people who would probably use your time better, but as someone new to this with so many pieces of advice online it would be amazing to speak to someone as experienced as you. Thank you for the videos :)
I've been investing 1000 a month in an S&P ETF and 200 a month into a semiconductor ETF for last 3 years I'm 48 and hoping to retire at 60. Unfortunately we dont have ISA's here in Ireland. Great content pal 👍
📈Great video again. I’d like to talk about being a young investor looking to get into property at somepoint and some general pointers to allocate my money to.
Hi Mitch, I see the risk level is very high on S&P, but assumed myself that a 10% return on average a year is low risk?. Maybe I'm missing something?. I've just recently started investing again after hitting AIM Stocks and shares before which were extremely high risk and volatile. I've stuck to S&P 500 & Global All Cap. I will be reading more investment books on how to pick individual stocks from now on but keep the core of my investments in the 2 index funds above.
Hi Joe, you're the winner of the competition! If you reach out to me via Instagram DM's @mitchinvesting, we'll get some time booked in together to talk property & side hustles!
Certain equities normally rise around this time of year, but that is unlikely given the present recession and economic environment. I have a lot of stocks with the hopes of making money this month, but I'm not sure if I should retain them or sell them. i'm currently sitting on $500k inheritance and wondering the best assets than stock to invest right now, and the outlook for investors in 2024 does not look promising.
I think it's great to use a portfolio advisor when investing. Before I met with a certified portfolio advisor during the pandemic crash in March 2020, I had recently started having terrible dreams. Finally, with the help of my advisor, I was able to increase my initial investment of $400k to over $2.8 million dollars.
I appreciate the implementation of ideas and strategies that result to unmeasurable progress, thus the search for a reputable advisor, mind sharing info of this person guiding you please?
🐒 i don't have the graph emoji on me PC. SIPP would be good but thoughts on Growth/Dividend would also be good to chat about. Thanks for the videos again Mitch!
Good work Mitch, keep it going. Keep adding to your portfolio ad re-investing your dividends via Drip. It’s amazing how it will grow over the years . Been at it 13 years myself and am now in the £1000 pm passive income club. I will be sharing my journey on my RUclips channel soon. Just set you a Instagram message too. Wasn’t sure how else to contact you directly 👍🏼 Regards Adam

📈 I’m hit and miss between the uk and us stocks, I don’t know if I should have one or the other or both in my portfolio, but while doing it I want to be able to start accumulating dividends for the long term, so maybe chat about what to look for when buying stocks which I kinda some what know I guess I just want someone better than me to guide me 😅
I started last year. I'm 52 with no income but £30k in savings. I put most of my savings in a high-interest savings account and transfer £20 a month into my index fund. So therefore, by the time I'm 200 years old, I can retire! lol
Amazing video been following you since May 2023, I am currently 18 with £5k invested Id like to talk to you about growing my investments and diversifying 📈
