not enough information to make a valid guess whether or not this was legal but just going off the evidence you supplied the cops broke no law ,i saw no, no trespassing notices at the street ,that means they have implied consent to enter the curtilage of your property ,meaning the area between the street and your front door ,as long as they had not had their implied consent specifically revoked by notice either written or given orally by a legal representative of the property they were not trespassing and according to the plain view doctrine were legally able to gather any evidence of any violations they may find ,this is why you mark your property as posted and never never ever give consent to LEO ,the condition of your neighbors yards may well point out unfair targeting if they were not notified or fined for violations but it would be 100% irrelevant to you and your case
Thanks for your comment I appreciate the time and thought you put into it this is exactly what I was looking for in the public opinion for my story I will be gathering more information on this matter thanks again
Unfortunately, it is not illegal. If you want to keep the law out of your yard, you'll need a fence, with a locked gate. Then they will need a warrant, to enter the property. They can still take all the pics they want from the street. It's up to you to create the privacy you want...
This is all just so unbelievable to me still can't believe this is happening I really feel violated I'll be done trucking and going home today and I don't even want to be there
Firstly, I think the city ordinance is the real issue here. No one should be able to tell you what you can and can't do on your own land. That said, the LEO did NOTHING wrong here. It's called plain view for the picture. Every road should have a sidewalk for pedestrians and if it doesn't have a sidewalk, there is easement allowance for anyone to be since you aren't allowed to walk in a road. If anything, you're lucky they didn't site you for having your semi parked in the road. They, along with every other American can stand in that road or it's easement and take all the pictures of your property they want and there isn't one thing you can do about it except put up a fence. Law enforcement is covered under the Amendments as well. They can also come on your property for the purpose of knocking on your door to talk or deliver a warrant or whatever business they have just like the postal workers, delivery people and the general public. The way around that is to post it no trespassing. They can still come on with proper authority like a warrant or exigent circumstance but that will keep casual out. With that, good luck getting deliveries. Nothing was done to violate your civil rights or without a warrant as they didn't need one for what you show here.

You need to worry about you. The neighbor's shit is their shit. Sheriffs will address the neighbors separately. Since Sheriff's are there, I'll assume you are in "unincorporated county" which usually allows relaxed living. I see no curb, sidewalk or fence. Good that you stored the tires, they can catch rainwater and breed mosquitos. Life is tough. Good Luck!
Thank you for the comment and yeah I showed the neighbors stuff only because they don't get harassed by the city and tires were there only because I have been doing tire work on my truck which I have the right to do and the one neighbor has his junkyard of old cars which is what the city accuses me of doing and the other neighbor they have used oil leaking all over my yard and no complaints ever are taken care of there
I agree. Worry about your own property, which doesn't meet city code. Neighbors likely have been notified also. If not ... they certainly will be now, thanks to you!! They'll appreciate you for that!
Good thing I have surveillance cameras over every inch everything has been recorded and kept in my property all my vehicles is up the code exactly up to code The city administrator is lying clearly

Yikes! This is VERY legal. Not even close! City officials, neighbors, and everybody can see this mess from the road. THAT is the simple probable cause. Yeah, city ordinance beats the 4th amendment to the constitution every single time. Sad but true. What other parts of the bill of rights do you think the founders were wrong about?
It doesn't "beat it" as you say! It is one of many, many, many exceptions and exemptions that have been adjudicated to the very general wording of the bill of rights. The constitution is being interpreted and reinterpreted all the time by the judicial branch of govt., in this case, granting local govts the right to create those state & city laws/ordinances to protect ths integrity and value of the property of neighbors and the public.
