There was a tunnel from near the railway bridge in Conisbrough that came out near the last property on Sheffield Road, Warmsworth and as children more than fifty years ago we used to walk through it. In the fields along the route there were grassy mound with air shafts.
Brilliant video, very informative. Those 1st tunnels me and a mate tryed exploring but it was flooded then as well. And we walked past those stones, never knew it was a berial ground.
Thanks man , glad you enjoyed it 👍
Excellent video, that burial ground in the woods looks very eerie.... brrrrrrr .... it gives me the chills 😱
Thanks Sam , certain woods can definitely be spooky! Looking forward to your next video. Congratulations on your channel's progress 👍👍👍 really enjoying your content 😁
@@theurbandon5902 Thank you so much, really appreciate it :)
One of them been fenced off now,I'd been going to it for agers !😢
Went for a walk down Conisbrough Viaduct a few months ago. Slightly muddy, huge grooves from quarry tracks in parks. Lovely walk and area. Hope it is kept as it is. Amazing how much of it, Levitt Hagg, Banana Avenue and Cadeby Tunnel is hidden nowadays. Didn't know there was an ancient burial ground there though
Also to note, I don't think that's the original rainbow bridge either. Not sure if that one came after that time.
I think you're definitely onto something there. I believe the original railway bridge was much lower, and run over the top of the two tunnels. The line would have lead straight to Levitt Hagg when you look at it on map.
Y.T won't let me comment on bleak house video for some reason so thoght i would post on here.
That got to be the best video so far, your a braver man than me be pal, and i can see the hard work you put into it, from editing to creepy background music, and what was them ladders up that tree about, looks like a watch tower or something .
Mate when I heard the knock on wood come from inside the house! What you lot couldn't see was me froze with my hands up 🤣🤣 I was really on edge mate tbh. Glad I did it tho. I remember 1999 like it was yesterday! Mr Martin is 78 now but you still wouldn't want to piss him off !!!! Still his land and he's still in the area.

Haha that's so funny.
Spooky old tunnels eh. I saw the photo of a quarry you flashed. Maybe these were tunnels to pull the stone away on horse drawn tramway? Just guessing here. Great exploration Donny Lad. You must know the area extremely well by now.🗺️🧭🔦
I'd agree with you there Dianne, I found remains of track at the bottom of one of the cuttings. Hope you're all good down under 👍
Tunnels to big to be culverts but big enough for 2ft quarry track😊
being that side of the river the smaller tunnels could have been tram route as to small for train there, or haybe a way through for materials for via duct. There is a old monk tunnel round there but that is possibly all gone by now, But was on water tower side. Lee seems to have not existed as I did a birth certificate check and nothing. Then to check I put in my cousins suicide for Lee Wellock , loads of info and could order his birth certificate. Weird that someone would put a sign up for someone with no traceable details.
I tried all the usual online checks as well mate. Very strange 🤔
Have a look in the banana caves down near the viaduct. I got stuck in the bastard for 45 minutes the other year but I'm a lot fatter than you.
Haha I'm scared of them 😅 my mate's been inside and a good few other caves in the area. Not for me all that malarkey!! I'd hate to be trapped! Some very precarious looking rocks around the quarry edge.
