- Since the new version of Sonic Dash was just released for Apple Arcade, you all have been wondering what the difference is between Sonic Dash and Sonic Dash+. Although nothing too major, there are some key differences that definitely makes this version of Sonic Dash a cut above the rest. Enjoy the video while I try to compare the aspects and gameplay of both Sonic Dash and Sonic Dash+.

Interesting, Sonic Dash+ has the Character Upgrade system from Sonic Forces Speed battle.
Sonic dash+: “i cleaned my shoes” -sonic 2022
Plus is cool but it seems like a much worse grind than the og and resets progress with no way to transfer so im keeping dash as my main

@@moltengears7483 so medals can now be unlocked via chance during tricks but take twice the amount to get a character, every bit of progress from og dash is reset, and the current mission system requires a heavy grind to get back to your progress in og dash
@@greninjasn its actually not bad. I managed to get classic sonic and metal sonic who are the most expensive of the characters in about a week. And still have red rings over from that which I mostly spend on gems to help with unlocking even more characters.
@@greninjasn and I don't play it super often. Maybe like a 15 mins a couple days a week.
This is honestly what they should have done from the start to avoid conflict like this, makes the game seem more solid.
The cool thing bout plus is, you can actually reset the game
I think you can do that in the regular game as well.
And you can still unlock the characters for free, you just gotta wait for the game to throw you a week where you can collect their medals
sadly the angry birds event is only a one time thing
And classic sonic doesn’t have one
@@MythicalGold can’t he be unlocked by completing green hill zone? Or is that just tails I manage to unlock him but forgot how and really just want the movie sonic from the 2020 event. You would think by now he would just be given to us for free at this point .

Sonic Dash+ is the return of Sonic Dash to Japan. I'm really happy.
Wow I didn’t know that Sonic Dash+ had some better things than the original game.
It literally doesn't change anything, it just changes that there are no purchases, that's all ._.
Removing the purchases makes the game 100% better.
@@bemwy How exactly? I unlocked all characters in the original without paying a penny, didn't bother me at all despite it being a bit of a grind. It's still the same game.
Title Screen Differences
Sonic Dash now has a + sign by it
Background has been replaced by clouds
Dirt on sonic's shoe has been cleaned off
The rings have changed (lighting, shading, size have all changed)
The shading and lighting on sonic has changed (look closely at the gloves, eyes, etc)
Shadow that looks like a palm tree has been removed
Sonic's shadow has moved more to the left
Sonic's shadow is now lighter

This isn’t worth paying for, they could have made a whole new since game for mobile before they re released a basic infinite runner game that’s probably been around longer than you’ve been alive. Save up and buy a real sonic game😅😅😅this is a waste, even IF you like sonic dash who the hell would buy this

Yet the bigest difference is in sonic dash plus, sonic does not longer have $hit on his shoes, finally sonic it took you like 9 or 10 to realise
The fact that tangle and whisper is only available in sonic dash plus ;-;
Tangle and Whisper are also available in the og version but they were rewarded by collecting tokens, so who knows when they’ll come back for newcomers
I'll stick to the original I think. I don't particularly feel like starting all over again to unlock stuff and tbh I found the original grindy enough as it is.
Edit: oh I see it's Apple Arcade. Well even more of a reason to avoid it. I don't really like Apple products based on my experience with them and honestly I don't play games on my Phone very often.

Ive grinded on + and its not a bad system at all. The game gives me really good rewards, and in a good month, Ive cleared the story content, and now just focusing on achievements and such. The no IAP is really nice, as I have a huge issue with getting that second of oh god i gotta grind more, and then having the game shove money solutions in my face.
I think my only issue rn is the achievements that require characters im 99% sure havent been added in this version yet, but added in the original game
You should try the current normal Dash since it's been reworked once again to the point that Dash+ is a different game, the one key difference now is that you can do multiple missions in a single run in normal Dash which almost makes me wanna ditch Dash+, still, getting characters in current Dash seems even worse than before

Android will always be better for installing modded APK's. My version of Sonic Dash has all the newest characters PLUS all the old ones like Pac-Man, Hello Kitty and the Angry Birds!

I honestly think there’s no point in dash+ unless you have a arcade subscription prior. Both of still get the same events and stuff, and it’s not like the og one bugs you about it’s micro transactions, they’re just there.
Not anymore no, Dash feels so much different currently to the point that Dash+ is kinda suffering due to lack of updates
Sonic Dash and Sonic Dash Plus has its pros and cons. A pro for Sonic Dash is that the amount of tokens required to unlock an event character in half as much as the one of Sonic Dash+, which is 500. A con for it is that If you don’t complete an event, you’d have to wait until another event pops up to collect the tokens and try to unlock the character. A pro for Sonic Dash+ is that Less rings are required to upgrade the characters. That being said, it’s also a con, as not all the time when you preform moves after you hit a spring will grant you character tokens, which is required to upgrade your characters, but it’s even less of a chance that it gives you the tokens that you are looking for.

One difference is there is a white little strike is sonic dash that isn’t in sonic dash + also the ring in the back they are facing opposite directions

Why does the original version look and seem so much better than +?
Like in Dash+ are the events random or something? What if you want to unlock Cream but her event isn't running. It'd just be easier to use red star rings.
Also Sonic Dash kinda benefits from In App Purchases. If you want a character you don't have to grind for them. You can just buy them.
I've grinded in Dash for the movie characters and it's not fun tbh. I just do it because the character may never appear again.
There's nothing about + that is better than the original. Apple Arcade is a stupid service that will only negitively harm Mobile Games and especially Android Users.
But at least it's not Sonic Forces Mobile. Forces Mobile sucks so much more than the console game it's sad
