What a great thing to be able to do, to pass on your makes to your sewing friend. Sarah, your vision is amazing. I looked at the florescent pink fabric and I thought , I've no idea what to make with that, but, to pipe seams with it is a fabulous idea. You will make it work, I'm sure. I love those twill/ drill Bob's, I think they will be great in the cooler weather. Love the top on your mannequin too!
Thank you, you will look great in it and it’s such a versatile piece especially to wear with wider sleeve tops underneath. Do you already have the Make it Simple book? If not, then have a look at the Fjord cardigan by papercut patterns. It’s similar, but with narrower sleeves and a fantastic high collar. It also comes in two lengths. I’ve just bought the pattern to try as a Bertha alternative. ❤️
Sarah thank you so much for the Twinset! I absolutely love it and yes, you have finished it off beautifully 😂 I shall be wearing it for the first time on Friday, when I’m meeting Sal for lunch so I shall definitely “strike a pose”. Xxxxx
Great vlog as always. I love Pound Fabrics you can’t beat them just ordered from them lol. I think the neon will be nice as piping against many colours ❤❤
Thank you so much for this!!! I used to love watching Trinny and have just subscribed and started watching her neon videos. So helpful and I looove the idea of neon and leopard!! Watch this space!! 😂🥰
I agree about the Bertha….i have made one plain which was useful but the quality of the fabric meant it didn’t last, fabric randoms and scrap busting an option but hard to wear as an outfit. Anyway, gr8 vlog xxxx
Thank you!! Yes I totally agree it makes them more difficult to wear in random colours although as a stand alone piece they look lovely!! I see from the hashtag there tend to be more plain than mixed Berthas. 😊
I love that pink fabric! Can't wait to see what you make with it. Thanks for sharing.
Suzanne
Thank you!! I’m coming up with lots of ideas to make it work hopefully 🩷
Totally agree. Make what you like. We are all different. Hard to wear bright colours out of season unfortunately. I really enjoy your vlogs. X
Thank you!! I’m determined to make the pink work with some autumnal colours 🤔🩷🥰😂
Wow that neon!!!! It is fabulous!!!!!!!!
Ah thanks, I’m actually really excited to get making with it!! 🩷

Ah thank you so much 🥰. I was so pleased to pass the cardi and top on rather than have it sit in my wardrobe. It was still fun to plan and make it! ❤️
❤

Oh thank you so much!! 😊
Have you seen how Trinny wears fluorescent pinks with brown animal prints. I think you could carry that off also. Love the top behind you. ❤
Thank you so much for this!!! I used to love watching Trinny and have just subscribed and started watching her neon videos. So helpful and I looove the idea of neon and leopard!! Watch this space!! 😂🥰

I love Bobs! Also, the neon fabric looks great on you, go bold and make a tshirt....
Thank you!! I’m thinking of a vest top to wear as a peek of neon under other things… 🤔😂
@@sewsarahstyle that will look perfect x
Thank you Sarah, can I ask you what the white top you were wearing is and the fabric pls.... I just love it!
Ah thank you!! It’s the style arc Stella made in a medium weight jersey from Birmingham Rag Market 🤍
What is the pattern of the cute top behind her? Love it!
Hi. It’s the Assembly line high cuff top. Thanks.
I tried goggling your cream top but the only Stella I found was a Tilly's and that's got dropped shoulders. Who is the pattern designer please?
Hi. Sorry it’s Fibremood Stella!
Thanks Sarah I will go check it out. 😊
