Infil into the dark sci-fi world of Tau Ceti IV: A derelict colony rife with rival Runners, hostile UESC security forces, and unpredictable environments. Play with your crew, as a solo Runner, or form uneasy alliances with proximity chat. Scavenge, buildcraft, and take on greater challenges-culminating with the derelict Marathon ship hanging above.

@humanharddrive1 She got justice. To quote her directly: "The Marathon art issue has been resolved with Bungie and Sony Interactive Entertainment to my satisfaction." (From December 2nd of last year.)
There's also the argument to be made that the visual style of marathon is based on a visual style that has been steadily built up and expanded upon over the last few decades. They absolutely did in-fact steal and directly put pieces of her artwork directly into the game with zero credit, and that is detestable. However to argue that they based the visual identity entirely off of her artwork is based on nothing and ignores the fact that graphic design and especially this form of graphic design has existed and been respected as existing for much longer than people realize.

I was pumping 90 fps on a budget card (6600 8gb) and the minimum spec is a 1050ti. They've genuinely cooked in the optimization department
If u have a ps5 pro there is a PSSR 5k 60fps mode, no word for 120fps on consoles tho

You might need to switch back to SDR to be able to set "competitive screen configurations". But I hope we can get that done with HDR, too.

I gotta say…I’ve been a non believer of this game but I can’t deny, though this isn’t my type of game, it looks incredible
If you try it, just think of it like a Roguelike with random players who are just bosses. It makes it more fun that way.

i think because destiny is crap, this is not marathon, most folks don't like extraction games, and the initial reveals were pretty rough. That said this is looking kinda good. We'll find out in the playtest.

Funny you mention that, the cinematic trailer from last year was actually directed _by_ one of the Love Death And Robots animators.

He was the director of the episode Jibaro, Alberto Mielgo.. the cinematography, lights everything had Alberto flavor. starting from 0 degree light projection to super close up wide angle distorted shots. sorry I came down so hard cause being a world cinema enthusiast I am seeing a lot of misinformation about this and alberto needs the recognition he deserves.

Even if I don’t end up liking this game, I’m supporting it for the art. These visuals are unlike anything out there and I’m good supporting games that don’t look like every other military shooter.

At this point I wonder if they are going to reveal the roadmap at the same time as the D2 Roadmap. Destiny 2 is one thing, but they still hold back for Marathons roadmap.
