Sir ne pura confidence gira diya and i really think he doesn't know much about what he is teaching.
I opted for Core Maths initially in eleventh then switched to applied because it has better oppurtunities further with commerce and is abetter combination but if you are thinking to opt applied mathematics for easiness then dont because it is equally difficult.

Applied maths is best for CA because they both have similar syllabus, on the other hand if you take Core maths CA syllabus will become really easy for you.
But Core maths required a minimum of 3 hours per day practice.(Enhance analytical thinking)
And Applied maths required your logical reasoning and 1-2h per day practice.(Enhance logical thinking)
Now the choice is yours select according to your comfort level.

Nah, Basic is too easy. If you take maths with pcm it'll be hard for you but if you're determined then all the best.
You can't take PCM with ap maths, it's compulsory to have core maths for that you have to standard maths, firstly pass in basic and give improving for standard or you can still choose PCB if u aren't interested in maths
