Easy Lithophane Blender 3.0+

Hi Everyone in this tutorial I will go over how to do a quick lithophane image for 3d printing. I will be going over subdivision, displacement, edges, applying the normals, and base 3d printing setup.

Certainly one of the better lithophane tutorials. Really appreciate it. How would one go about wrapping this around different shapes? :)

If it were a sphere or a rounded object I start out with that shape at the beginning. If you want i can create another video on how to do that exactly

Great video, thank you very much. Why do some people recommend the 3D print toolbox addon and the Multiresolution modifier?

So the 3d print tool box is good for exporting stls and the multiresolution is to smooth the image more and make the output a little smoother for the slicer.

But if I want to import it in bambu studio, it says that it is not possible because it has no geometry data? Can you help mi fix this? It would be very great!

yes i can... that download is an exported file that is already sliced, you are going to have to find the original model or open the slicer and save it as an stl or obj
