Hello my operator looks exactly the same as the last one shown from 3:55 to 4:05. I can’t seem to find that style anywhere. Any help or a link to that type would be huge and greatly appreciated!

At the 3:56min mark do you know what brand of crank that is? That is exactly what I have and can't find any info on the crank itself

I am so stumped about how to reattach the two clips to the window. Do you have an email where I could upload a picture? This is a casement window dual arm crank and the operator should go underneath the window into a very short track.. but the track is very short and the clips dont seem to connect in any way to the track.. there is no manufacturer name on the window either. Thank you

How do you know the difference between a left or right window operator

Hello, we very much appreciate your question and would be more than happy to help.
if a hinge is located on the left-hand side of the window unit as viewed from inside of the home, the hinge is left-handed. Lock mechanisms are handed from the INTERIOR of the home. For example, if a lock is on the right-hand side of the window as viewed from INTERIOR of the home the lock is right-handed. (This applies to Andersen Windows)
Note: Different manufacturers hand their products differently so there isn't one true absolute answer. You may want to see who made the window operator and research accordingly
If you still need assistance then please feel free to contact us via the link provided and allow one of our experienced customer service representatives to assist you in resolving this issue.

Lol. This covers only ONE KIND of operator - not "any other type."
    My linkage is not pictured.
NOTHING in or on underside of window.

How do you know when you would need to replace an operator? I moved into a home that has Andersen casement windows throughout ( I too dislike this type of window. I can’t put a fan in any of them and I’m almost positive I can’t use a portable air conditioner in my hot garage. I am, however, absolutely positive I’m not getting my body through those windows in the event of an emergency.). In one of the rooms on the lower level of my home I have a window where one side won’t open or close all the way. I discovered the end of the arm on the operator is not attached to anything on the bottom of the window therefore wouldn’t be able to since there’s no contact. The problem is that the window is only a few inches from the ground and I can’t see exactly what’s happening under there. It would even be hard using a screwdriver in that area if I needed. I bought a special one and I finally have a small mirror to place under the window so I can see. That’s why I asked how one would know if it needed replaced. Or could it be fixed?

Whoever designed this type of window was a complete and total moron.
