There are many, many bands that they sound like before they get any where near the brilliance of Joy Division. I wonder if any post punk band that surfaces can avoid the inevitable JD comparisons. Interpol is a band that White lies owes the most, in my opinion. They practically commandeered 'The lighthouse.'

This is nowhere near as good as their current performances. I'm impressed at Jools for being so quick to catch onto this band though, they're awesome
