@@user-ph8sh9kt9v I think whats good about a pad controller is its portable and more easy to create beats fast so its better for producers/composers to cook up and drums are good fore live and realistic recordings
Of course you can, you just need to be good with your fingies. Great job on the dynamics dude. I'm looking into this to record my music. I can't get an actual drum kit because of space limitations, so this is the best I can do.
I probably could if they didn't all interpret my drumkit VSTs all like, bass drum on pad 8 and most of the rest of the pads in that bank are, like, pedal hi hat and splash cymbals, etc
lol maschine is the most frustrating thing i've ever had to work with. I'm convinced you need to take a whole college course to understand this shi- IM DONE
Ima take a shot in the dark and guess its a native instrument kit. By the controller plus native is pretty much industry standard. Not saying you can’t get gret sounds with out them but the stock sounds dont need much tweaking.
Right now, the answer is unfortunately yes. For realistic finger drumming, you need a high quality drum emulator software, and none of the standalone pad controllers currently available offer built-in drum softwares. I made a video explaining the difference between drum software & one-shot samples: ruclips.net/video/_Zes7Mfwut8/видео.html
@@DragonFingerDrumsThanks so much. I have an Alesis sr 18-looking to upgrade. If it isn't standalone, it's a deal breaker for me. May look into a multipad setup. Sounds great by the way
Not sure what you mean, there are no kick drum hits in the beginning, it starts with a snare roll, then down the toms and into the kick/snare/hi-hat groove.

The audio is panned really well, it does feel realistic
Me looking at my actual drum kit: well shit
The day that drum sets died? I know it ain't the same, but I'm dying to pick one of these up next to a piano.

Probably indistinguishable from real ones after you add a pinch of reverb and put it in the mix

Add a bigger room reverb to get that “in the room” reflected sound and it’d be perfect 🤌🤌🤌 love your content man!

Is that a unison tattoo on that man’s hand. This man is a ringer.
I just recently bought my first launchpad and I would really like to know if someone could recommend a software to play the drums like in this video?
Well that takes care of that.
Playing on a live drum kit looks way cooler.
And way less portable 😄
@@7Eightyone And requires way more skill. 😎
Ma boi
I'm looking at this very same pad. how much did you pay for yours? I'm looking to spend 350 or so. any advice would be great!
How to you connect Kontakt drum library to play with pads on an Akai mini? Thanks
You can play the sound of realistic drums but playing the actual drums on a drum pad? That would be damn near impossible.
Greqt sounding kit, which one?
I probably could if they didn't all interpret my drumkit VSTs all like, bass drum on pad 8 and most of the rest of the pads in that bank are, like, pedal hi hat and splash cymbals, etc
What source are u using to get the sounds ?
Sounds like the best that that bald guy made everyone clap to

Yeah but the velocity stays the same so this is a bit too rough
SIGH… I guess not 😢
Do you play real drums as well?
I can Only play drum pad Machine
Music by New tone
So the answer is no, cymbals always give it away.
What Kit are You using?
Ima take a shot in the dark and guess its a native instrument kit. By the controller plus native is pretty much industry standard. Not saying you can’t get gret sounds with out them but the stock sounds dont need much tweaking.
It's even harder on midi keyboards

all that experience, time, effort and practice just to be replaced by a pad 😢
I'm sure he put the time, effort and practice into this as well
