Some reason in Australia, I just got airpods pro for 13usd more than the airpods 4 with ANC. Was such an easy decision because of these features. And also, you can use an apple watch charger on the pro 2 case!
Same! I charge it on my Apple Watch puck and love the versatility. I have a dual port charger with lightning and my Apple Watch charger. It’s all I need for my apple ecosystem.

If the Airpods 4 are smaller in the ear compared to the Airpods 3 its a buy. I still use my OG Airpods 2 with the long stems because they are small and don't hurt my ears

You should not get the AirPods 4 unless you _really_ don’t like the in-ear tips. The AirPods Pro 2 are regularly discounted on Amazon (I got mine for $169 a couple months ago).

I get ear pain from my pro2s when I’m flying. I think it’s from the inner ear pressure imbalance caused by the seal of the tips. I feel like the open air design of the AirPods 4 will help with that and still give me decent noise cancellation im excited. Keep up the good work!
Dude That could be plain placebo, the pros 2 and 1 literally have a hole in its chasis specifically for pressure relief within the earbuds you can literally feel the difference between the pros and earbuds that lack the vent

When apple rolled out passive sound, as a visually impaired person I immediately purchase them. I use them for GPS directions while still being aware of my surroundings as well as still ise sound to navigate. I haven’t purchased a set of AirPods since that version which was around 2018-2019. I have the first version of the AirPods from max. Those are a little too heavy. I have a smaller head being a small person so they fall off my head when I lay down. Do is taller than me by an inch.
these are both airpod 4, neither are airpods pro 2. Airpods pro 2 have a completely different design, and they have the silicone ear tips, which neither of these airpods have
The audio is better with the pro 2 because of silicone tips are more immersive but not everyone likes silicone tips in their ears so for those people it would be AirPods 4
My noise reduction in airpods pro 2 works like contact mode with one diffe-rence: it slightly muffles the surroun-dings, nothing else. The voice of the in-terlocutor, passing cars, etc. can be he-ard as if in contact mode. regular AirPods Pro work like earplugs in noise re-duction mode, whereas in the 2nd gene-ration they don't work at all.

I’m glad they got rid of those silicone tips. I have an allergic reaction to them and they literally tear my ears up. I had to switch to the Lenovo over the ear, ear phones.

I need these since I’m going on a few years from when I lost hearing in one ear. If my other ear gets clogged from sinuses or being sick I freak out and my AirPods now help in transparent mode so I can hear sounds. My deaf ear has to tinnitus and I try to have videos playing to zone it out.
iOS software updates are normally released around 10:00 PT. That means you should have access around 22:30 IST in India as all updates are released at the same time worldwide. Hope that helps

Pinch to zoom would be awkward as hell. That is poor design.
