FabFilter's update to Pro R (2) add a bunch of features, including impulse response loading, and surround and multi-channel capability. Tons of presets and a broad set of tweak able parameters make this a great reverb.

Yup, this was one of the things missing from my Reverb 'library' .
Remedied that just recently after the Anniversary discounts hit. 👍
Wow, it's really great
code red: wear headphones before 14.00 mins sharp.
There is modulation, though no modulated delay taps. But if you turn up the character past 75% you'll have plenty of chorusing in the reverb.
Yes! It’s in the character knob. Thanks!
Hey Chris, great review and you definitely piqued my interest. Key question; how was the CPU loading. I fall too easily in love with a great reverb, then get my heart broken when it brings my computer to its knees…
No problems on an old intel Mac
@@ImpliedMusic thanks, Chris. I'm going to check out the demo, right away!
I don't see a compelling reason to upgrade other than if needing atmos. It sounds exactly the same as V1 and the knobs have been moved around and renamed in the GUI. Ducking/gating is easy enough with an additional plug-in and with better control.
thanks for that perspective! this is my first time working with Pro R... very impressed. it seems to me the new ability to load IR's and convert work with them using this GUI is pretty useful.
