Thanks Roni ! I love historical fiction and Russian history is always interesting on a vast scale. Wonder why ? Adding Anastasia Romanov to the mix as both the main character and the author as well was truly inspired. I’m glad she got out of that nasty basement and its gunmen after all.
I've been fascinated by the Romanov story since I was 10, and the author was kind enough to indulge me on it 💕 more are in the works!!

While I don't have a lot of sympathy for Nicholas ll (who was cruel to Russia's Jews and stupidly involved the country in a war it wasn't prepared for) as far as I'm concerned the Bolsheviks doomed themselves once they murdered all his innocent children in a filthy basement. Was Anastasia really imagined to have psychic powers or was that for the sake of the story ? I was thinking how Rasputin wouldn't have liked that one bit.
@@teddydog6229 I'm with you, not a fan of the political context one bit, but I grew up in the atmosphere of the animated movie "Anastasia" and wondered- did she die? And if she did, why? As an adult I've consumed a lot of books and docs on the sisters as well as Rasputin 😊 I've always wondered how it didn't get creatively used in an entertainment/fantasy context 🙃 such good material!!
@@CreeparoniTime It is amazing no one made a blockbuster movie about the Romanovs and Rasputin isn't it ? I think it's been conclusively proven by DNA that Anastasia was with her family in that ugly basement massacre. The Czarist system needed to go but as always what replaced them was worse just like the French and later the Iranian revolution. By their heartless calculations the Bolsheviks knew that any Romanov would become a rallying point for the opposition. Leon Trotsky and his encounter with an ice pick shows they were consistent. I'm going to take a wild guess that you're also interested in Marie Antoinette and poor Louis XVI who certainly didn't deserve what happened to them. What happened to their son makes me sick to even think about. My overall point is that along with horror I'm a history fanatic too (quite a blurry line between them) so I'm so glad you've created a channel that often combines the two. And before I forget I wish you and yours the happiest and most placid of all possible Thanksgivings !
