I was at 13 minutes of pursuit, just needing to evade. I went to the water tank tower pursuit breaker and it disabled the two Corvettes pursuing me, but it also felt on top of me and I got stuck. Seeing that there were no more cops around and the green bar was starting to fill up, I pressed the reset button. As my car was blinking, a SUV drove past me. It wasn't even going in my direction, it just went by me as they usually do after ramming you. I was automatically busted because of that, with no police car nearby. That was some bullshit.
If you reset your car you always get busted immediately. Even in cooldown.
@@KasabianFan44 Specifically, when reset is done manually. Automatic resets are fine.

@@KasabianFan44 The other thing is that he should not be too slow when triggering a Pursuit Breaker.
@@KasabianFan44 Manual reset in cooldown mode is fine, the problem is having cops anywhere near you. Still remember when I begrudgingly had to do reset during a pursuit, I was afraid to do so even though I was absolutely sure there were no cops around, because I was afraid the simple action made you get busted. But nope, I got out of it. If your car stopped blinking, you're good. You know how the busted bar slowly increases depending on how slow you are and how many cops are surrounding you? When you're blinking, the pace in which the bar rises is set to reach maximum instantaneously.

When I had only one police car left from that first wave, I started playing hide and seek at the refinery so that the backup timer would always reset every time that last patrol lost sight of me. Unfortunately the backup arrived with 2 minutes left for the Challenge and I spent 5 more minutes until I lost them by the sewer in Downtown Rockport.
At 2:20 where the bus station at when he went through that glass he should've turned up them stairs and dat up there cops going to keep running off the top trying to bust you just back up or drive forward slowly keep sittin there till ya pursuit time is up then pull up towards the stairs slowly and evade
Sometime the cop can reach there, it happened to me 2 time

Go thru the glass At the station where the busses at and just sit at the top of the stairs let the time run up then soon. It hit the pursuit time drive slowly out the way and yuh will evade easily

@@EddieMaverickHunter It is also fair to advise him in order to fulfill the spike strip milestone, heat level 4 is a necessity. He better be prepared.
@@dbclass4075 let's also not forget that one mistep on heat 4 upwards or if he goes RIGHT THROUGH the spikes, he's toast. And that nonetheless the cops CAN BUST HIM IF HE'S NOT CAREFUL
