Thank you for sharing your cultural beliefs with us. We are all a family under the sky and living on earth. We must live and learn to love each other. So says the God of my culture.
Thanks for updating this scenic view and heritage that has had a few altered ideas in history. The things I grew up with is understanding what to look for as I learned about being a dream and looking at a dream catcher. Looking at the many things that ran through this desert, and the saddening of the centuries from culture blending to having a all out war twice over. I look at red earth, as one aspect about novice story saying and keeper. My generation was from one living in Phoenix and from natives, whites Tennessee.. to review history about truth and native ancient name. By now the dust storm settled and still the turning of soul taking is going on. The real question is in what form . I love the proving of old homes underground and knowing they filled lands of people. They reach back as far as any civilization that was early on. That many around the world were discovered during this process and along with damages going on, saving too happened. The change didn't do as well then for humanity. I don't believe third world verbage ..even if those saying are dreaming of being above...they dish flattery more than practical access to enough trade value to do as well as nations once did . Even when the choice having sent the same for the purpose. As a defender for the country, even Navajo, otherwise named Joe, too should take some place as the owning of decisions making and having their own law was upheld. Later to find what was returned as supporting value, the imposed use for other things took..they are being told off in a sincere or blatant way. This history of beginning is unfolding even under the hardest of circumstances and belief. There's albino animals sprouting a understanding for many ..that had not been so much. There's essence of having less stress from the sound of ringing arc that is not exact on being the roof ...or atmosphere bend...even if it runs energy to conform others in harder events. Nature is the living as each , not as much a gathering soul collecting heavier toast. But we live and learn. I'd say this region was suppose to have their own source for not dependent on some that had made worse lives than not. It shouldn't be in a dealt way that reattached too many of world entrusting events for puppeteering others.
What is the name of the song by Joe Tahonie Jr that is played throughout? Where could I see more of the specific 2 women dancers that performed in the short clip?

AZ, NM + FL are the most beautiful and best places to live grandiose landscapes. But some stuff doesnt make any sense, like Indians having US flag flying on their properties. Thats the flag that stole your land and killed your way of life culture and forefathers. Makes no sense whatsoever.
Why are you doing a documentary on Navajos and playing Apache music in the background? Amateur film makers. I am half Navajo and Apache. Please represent accordingly.
I understand but it’s apache songs. I too am half Navajo and Apache they are two different tribes. Language might be a similar in some ways but they are different. I just didn’t like the representation because a lot of Native Americans are always misrepresented and it shows the audience mislead information. That’s all I am not trying to be mean or anything I just didn’t like that. Sorry if I offended you I just want our people to be represented in the correct way. Thank you for your time and comment.
I forgot to add that my grandfather on my dads side is the Apache and used to perform for people at many places and a lot of his crown dancing gear was handed over to Mr. Tohonnie Jr when he passed. So I can relate. Just want our people to be represented properly. Again thank you for your time and comment.
@@LangzProductionz and who is your grandfather and what type of apache are you? by the way you dont just pass down your crown dancing ''gear'' to someone else just because they are related, im guessing there was some sort of reasoning behind it or further explanation? if so id like to hear ps: tohonnie is a drummer, not a crown dancer, pretty sure he just got dragged into it in some way

i have some honest questions about this. and i think at least some of the answer lies in the slaughter of so many of the community, such that the native communities don't have the population to sustain themselves, as well as the addiction and broken families. it's all very sad. but i do wonder why in these videos (others of life on reservations) there seems to be much land, but i see no greenhouses. people who struggle with the identity of wanting to live like their ancestors, but also want running water and electricity. I see the bison they so want, yet, they are drinking pepsi (so much pepsi!) and eating canned goods. They complain about traveling far by truck and gas prices, none of our ancestors had trucks. where are the horses? You want to have your cake and eat it too. all generations must decide between living as the past or assimilating to the future. even homes in cities have gardens and fresh food, this is now able to be done in all areas of the world. for a community that seems to value their heritage, they seem to not want to embrace it. it's sad and confusing. and i wish them the best. but they must help themselves. my heart especially aches for the children, the depression and suicide. there is a lost generation of parents. i hope the children learn to work the land, to hunt. people do this all across the us, in many different weather systems. im confused as to why they have abandoned their ways. they want to adjust to running water, and vehicles, and heat, and air conditioning, and electricity, but cannot adjust to planting, and making flour and community living, and hunting/gathering. it may be an adjustment with greenhouses in areas where the land is no good, but i do not understand want but not doing. there seem to be many many good people. with unemployment so rampant, you would think they would create food jobs in their own lands. you dont need money for that, you need community. give and take. i think it is because of the lost generation. i hope they accept outside help because they are now killing themselves. it's sad.
That's sad how you have to be high just to pray to your God, no wonder alot of young people doing drugs and alcohol, cause they are taught that by their elders.
Wonderful film. The host speaks so clearly. I really enjoyed this. Thank you.😊

most logical explanation is that Joe tohonnie jr is half Navajo, they probably didnt notice it wasn't a Navajo song
