Been high on Dunn as great defender
Edey and Dunn would be an excellent draft with 2 prospects with incredible ceilings.
Zack Edey will be the best player in this draft. He tested out athletically better than all the centers in the draft that they have ahead of him.
Zack edey and athletic shouldn't be in the same sentence
Exactly who I have in mine for our B2B picks. Get a project OG with elite defensive traits already who Thibs will love. Edey would be great, could definitely use another frontcourt body and with Mitch's future in question with either trading him and/or injury concerns it would be a fantastic backup plan.
I think we need to draft a center because we are either keeping Mitch and not resigning IHart or most likely signing iHart and trading Mitch. I don’t hate drafting edey
Mitch is never available consistently because he’s always hurt. I don’t think he works on his body every summer.
Rookies deal will help offset all the big contracts we are gonna have! This draft is huge
Ryan Dunn's offensive game is so bad that he's scared to do anything when the ball is in his hand. And blaming the offensive system is a copout, since he passes up wide open three's. He would be a project pick. It's almost like people who make these videos only watch highlights of these prospects.
Those are the two i want us to pick
Right audio channel is out.
Damn, not sure what happened there but thank you for catching! I'll see if I'm able to repair that
@@LockedOnKnicks No problem. Just make the audio mono and rebounce/export. Keep up the great work!
can dunn defend? bc the knicks need a defensive small forward to spell og when he gets injured. i don't know about edey. he doesn't run the court well and that could be a problem in the nba.
Dunn the best defender in draft
@@rhondadearborn3265 then they should draft him if they have the chance.
I don't think you can draft a guy who can't shoot. I just don't think Thibs is playing a guard who shoots 40/20/50. Doesn't matter how well they defend
imo it's impossible to say a guy can or can't shoot when he's as low volume as he was and played for Virginia who never really highlight any single player on offense. Even our own OG Anunoby only shot like 31% from 3 on 2.5 attempts his last year in college and look at what he's become! If Dunn would be able to come off the bench and come along slowly, he's already got one elite NBA skill (defense), so basically he's a jumper away from being a solid NBA role player
@@LockedOnKnicksNah cut it out bro.. Ryan Dunn is bricking the majority of his shots even in basic shooting drills. His shot is more broken than ever.
@@LockedOnKnicksmore than solid that’s all nba defense material!
Great takes on Edey but I'm sorry though the Spurs are picking Edey at 8. Edey will be teaming up with Wemby to share minutes, fouls and 240lb+ match ups. Also there will be big to big lobbing with Edey and Wemby.
Is Ryan really 6'8 or 6'6 because I would love for him to back up heart when OG gets hurt, but I really like Deron Holmes II to back up randle at the 4 spot, and I want kel'el Ware for the five spot to take Simms spot on the team.
He's the same size as OG but without the freakish length of OG. Which is why I lessened the Dunn hype. We were told he was 6'9 at one point. That's why we have the combine I suppose
They measure in stocking feet he is 6'6.25 but with sneaks 6'8".
I'll take ke el ware and Keyshawn George both tall and stretch the fall
Od rather take my chances on Kel 'el Ware then Edey
We need scoring off the bench
Not if we get Mikal and move Dvo to the bench to be the new version of IQ.
Both terrible fits. Give me Kelel Ware or Tristan Dasilva.
Tibbs kills us in the drafting department for sure. Because of his strict dummness of not coaching them up he drills them kills the skill sometimes.
How much did RJ, IQ, Duece and others improve?
@@lyriktehuti alot for 2 to be traded. They were good 2 of them from college. Mcbride is ok.
@@revolution2829 so, Thibs DOES coach players up.
Jabar had only one move and was Seven foot 4
🙄💩 these are 2 prospects that would have me breaking my TV during the draft if they were chosen. With all the solid, plus sized wings available to draft, Dunn is the pick Yall try and saddle my NYK’s with. And Edey isn’t the answer at the 5 spot considering we already have Robinson, and hopefully resign IHart. Even if IHart isn’t retained, the backup 5 spot could be filled with any of the other bigs in the draft. Jericho Sims isn’t even an option for major min, and I’d try to bring back Precious Acheiwa. Do better fellas…
no volume
Zach Edey is not going to make it by the 24th pick.
True but I think he's pretty realistic as a trade up candidate if they really want to go for him!
The Knicks should absolutely not trade up for him! The Knicks need someone that can bring the ball up and create their own shot. That should be the number one goal, whether that be Randle or a trade. That absolutely killed us this year and must be addressed!! Besides, this is the old two to make one play this year. If he is available when we pick, Then I could see taking a flyer on him
He's never coming over
I’d love big boy Burns that dude just lost like 40 lbs that’s the kinda commitment Thibs loves
Cmon man, two players who don’t stretch the floor at all? Perfect players? I don’t think so. The bench needs passing, 3 point shooting and then defense.
I would not draft Ryan Dunn as he cannot shoot a basketball. An undrafted free agent, sure.
Thibs don’t play rookies.
I actually think this is a pretty false narrative. Thibs doesn't play players he can't trust. But he's given five rookies (IQ, Obi, Grimes, Deuce, Sims) playing time and roles in their rookie years and then fairly significant roles in their soph years and beyond
