Iol, testing . Boys will be boys. No matter the age. The bull likes the scratching post. Funny. What about bucking up some of the trees, then push the burn closer. Seen some long trees in it. The herd isn't afraid of the fire, weird. 🎄🙏🇨🇦😊👍
He is always informative and interesting and I love to watch the animals in the videos. You can tell they really trust him and enjoy his presence. That little bull is really cute.
Hi Daniel, Enjoying your videos. I melted the soles of my boots when I walked over my burn pile a solid week after the fire went out. Don't underestimate how long it takes to completely cool down.
I believe you said some of them trees were hedge. If they were they make good fence posts. It's been said that a hedge post will outlast two post holes.
I enjoyed seeing how that backhoe came off . In my experience Ballast Weight is everything on a tractor. I’m sure it will do much better once you get fluid in those tires
For normal grapple work I have 400 lb wheel weights and fluid filled tires. When I need more stability for heavy work on steep ground I add a 1200 lb. 3pt. weight box as per the recommendation in my owners manual. Seasons greetings Arms family
Fill the back tires, you can add wheel weights and spacers. Some folks buy a weight box that hooks on the three point hitch. Need to think about balance all the time.
Points of interest: I NEVER run my tractor without weight in the back, when using front-end attachments. OR the other way around. That keeps the counter weight distributed as best as possible. I also always run the attachment as low to the ground as possible, to keep from having rollovers. In your video, you can see if you put a brush hog (for weight) on the back the tire would have better traction. BE SAFE OUT THERE.
Always release the pressure of the hydraulics by rotating all your hydraulic controls after you shut the engine off to unhook your lines when taking off backhoe or loader. That way your not under pressure when you disconnect or connect your hydraulic lines.
Yup that's a fun experience when your lifting something and realize the back tires are raising at the same time .. wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas 🎄🎄
Merry Christmas and Happy New year Arms family. Merry Christmas and Happy New year to everyone. Remember the reason for the season. May y'all have a great upcoming year. With God all things is possible.
It's really nice that you can burn the brush and branches! It's a lot better than having to haul it off!! I Love Tractors!! God Bless and have a Wonderful Evening!! 😀⚘❤🎄
You might also check and see if they have the weights that sit on your frame they look sort of like the weights on a weight bench but with a slit in them. We had them back in the dark ages. MOST of the time they were on the front end. That is what the bar on the front of the older tractors was for, to hold the weights. Glad to see they have a different attachment system for the backhoe. Had one with it and the backhoe was great for things around the house BUT being attached to the 3 point made it very rough on the tractor. When you go to hook it back up, TAKE YOUR TIME and have someone there to spot you for the filter. Good job and God bless
When you have no weight on the back of your tractor and Caleb with the front end we need to leave the front in in full drive so the front tires will help pull your tractor
Good evening to Arms Family Homestead and all others too. It's been great all year round of 2021 of watching your channel. I was enjoying you all showing others how you and your family work out on the farm with different activities. I'm going continue watching your channel as always. Sending prayers for everyone and everything continue on going good. Merry Christmas to everyone i pray you enjoy and stay safe, Houston got a big surprise ! Hugs to all.😄😄
Daniel .. you might need to either order or make you a small counter wight for the tractor ... that would help it a lot .. maybe one with cement ... and a steel rod that connects with the 3 point hitch ..
It's enjoyable watching you with your new toy. 😉. You and DeJay were great in the commercial you did for the outdoor show. Merry Christmas to you Daniel and your family.
Great video! I have a tree puller attached to the quick attach on my Tym T454 (same tractor, different HP) and can attest that the rear tires will come clear off the ground. If you get a rear will slip, mash down on the pedal to your lower right (rear differential lock). If both rear tires then spin kick it into FWD. Also be Very careful about off-center loads (like that big tree). The loader arms aren't meant to have a huge twisting moment applied to them and will bend your loader arms (you can imagine how expensive THAT would be). Merry Christmas and keep on Tractoring!
Houston are a great caretaker for the animals on the farm and other activities too. He knows a lot he's a guide just like Daniel and Emily too that's great. . Merry Christmas to everyone i pray we all enjoy and stay safe. I gone on my Christmas Vacation From Houston, Texas to my old home town of Ruleville, Mississippi . Pray me and my family stay safe. God Bless You All.
It also doesn't hurt to put some wood blocks under your backhoe attachment, to keep it from settling over time. Tractor time with Tim uses Beet juice for loading the tires, I guess it doesn't rot anything ? I bet your cattle would love an old street sweeper broom, the 6' round ones ? Merry Christmas Arms family and of course, everyone else !
Happy holidays. I wish I had a life like yours . You are living the dream life and I know you worked very hard for every bit of it and you deserve all you have . You have a awesome family and your doing life right. I'm the same age as you and I've gone down the opposite road thanks to addiction . Not wanting a pitty party but if I didn't wake up tomorrow that would be a good day. I was a good person once upon a time ago. Just don't take one second of what you have for granted cherish it.
You will love having your tires loaded and I would say put at least 1000 pounds in them. But that was a good test and you didn’t get hurt so that’s what counts . I enjoy watching your videos, thanks for sharing them
Tom pemberton anther youtuber uk. Has dairy cows and so the cows have strating thput vertal and spin it like a cars brush when you go into wash, by the way the like the tractor one might be useful. Merry christmas and a happy new year!!!
When we had a front end loader on a tractor on our farm it always had a 3ft square concrete block on the 3 point lift for counter balance. This was only ever removed when we wanted to put a trailer on it. Hope you all have a lovely Christmas.
If I can suggest, dig a hole next to the stump end of the fire. When the fire gets down to the stumps, push them in the hole. This will hold the heat and burn the stumps to a fine ash. We found an area of our property and dug a large hole and drag our trees and brush to the"fire pit" and burn a couple times a year.
Thinking for the cows, would a post running horizontally like the top of a fence at the height so the cows could scratch their backs. I think back in the day farmers would put grease on them to keep bugs away
Daniel, your skilled enough with a welder to build a structure for your 3 point hitch to add counter balance weight maybe a box you can add scrap steel and Iron ya could look at around for abandoned train tracks collect enough weight to offset the center of gravity on your tractor. just a few ideas.
Normally over the decades tires were filled with calcium chloride. It is corrosive and isn't the rim or wheels friend. I found for mine, beet juice. Yes, beet juice. Works wonderfully and will never corrode. Iron wheel weights are also very effective as an addition to loading the tires and aren't expensive.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your family. May God continue to bless you and keep you in His safety into 2022. Stay safe and see you next year.
Thank you for the t shirt and beans, great show
The mini Herefords want one of those big, revolving cattle brushes for Christmas! Rufus and the girls might like it too.

I believe you said some of them trees were hedge. If they were they make good fence posts. It's been said that a hedge post will outlast two post holes.
Merry Christmas to you and your family. I look forward to seeing your videos. Daniel's calm voice makes my day brighter.

Look how calm those cattle are near that brush fire. Amazing!☺
BJ’s cows would love one of those hanging/pivoting brushes for scratching and also as a head butt toy.
Fill the back tires, you can add wheel weights and spacers. Some folks buy a weight box that hooks on the three point hitch. Need to think about balance all the time.
Happy holidays, you all helped me get through 2020 and 2021. Be safe
Where's the fun in being safe xD
That was very unnecessary and rude uanimal yt
It was a joke dude
like your tractor. protect the seat from the weather looks like a lot fun and work saver
Merry Christmas to the arms family from Kingston Queensland Australia

Got anymore brain busters?

Most lines will have so much pressure you can't unhook them without doing so.
That because of the short wheel base but it is a good tractor overall you could make a concrete balance that attached to the three-point hitch
I hope you and your family has a very merry Christmas and a very prosperous new year
Merry Christmas Arms Family
from Erie, Pennsylvania
Yup that's a fun experience when your lifting something and realize the back tires are raising at the same time .. wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas 🎄🎄
Merry Christmas to you and your family 🎄🎄🎄
Merry Christmas! God bless you and your family!
Cow: He's at it again!
Bull: Yeah but scratchin's gooooood.
O wow I have to say with the three point staying on the tractor with the backhoe attachment that is super awesome the versatility on that is great.
Merry Christmas and Happy New year Arms family. Merry Christmas and Happy New year to everyone. Remember the reason for the season. May y'all have a great upcoming year. With God all things is possible.

Had a LS tractor that was set up the same way. Was easy to remove but a pain to reinstall.
Hi from Syracuse NY brother and thank you for sharing your thoughts and adventures with your family and everyone else and your farm
When you have no weight on the back of your tractor and Caleb with the front end we need to leave the front in in full drive so the front tires will help pull your tractor
Merry Christmas everyone
If you don't want to mess with the tires you can buy or build a ballast box for the back of your tractor. It makes a big difference.

Thank you for all your adventures and Merry Christmas
If there is room to do it, i think i would build a 3 sided rectanguler guard around hyd.oil filter so can,t damage it with backhoe frame.
