  • Hey guys here is an unboxing of the 1/144 scale RX-78F00 High Mobility Type! This is a kit that is exclusive to Gundam Factory Yokohama and it’s a kit I personally haven’t seen before. The kit itself looks to be pretty standard but it should be a very fun build!

Just to clarify the Yokohama Gundam Factory & 1:1 RX78 will be there a until March 2024. Visited there last week (it's ¥1100 to enter) & even picked this kit up myself. I can tell you the cost of the kit in Yen if you're really like to know 😅

Nice I went to gundam front Tokyo a few years ago but unfortunately the old gundam statue was already gone as they were in the middle of replacing it with the Unicorn. Would love the opportunity to go back to Japan to visit Yokohama Gundam Factory but that probably won’t happen 😅 but glad you at least got to experience it. But thanks for the clarification I had no idea how long it was going to be around! And yeah I’m curious how much the yen price was for this kit was I wish Bandai still included the yen cost on the side of the boxes but I understand why they took it off, it was a smart business decision for sure.

@@Mac-Pla The Unicorn Gundan is definstely an awesome sight & opens up at night with all its psycho frame lights.
KIT Wise this came in just shy of ¥2600. Not sure how that looks to wait you paid but exclusives are a second hand sellers dream & imo its deffo a kit worth picking up even on resale.
That said they do actually have a stock of some of the Yokohama Factory "Exclusives" in the Odaiba Gunbase. So if anyone does miss the Factory i'd wager the Main storw will keep its stock for a while after.

They really should just list this kind of thing as a HG and give the Yokohama variants a SF designator due to the Side-F they tend to call them (So HGSF) and give them a numbering rather than not listing them as such.

That would be smart but then again Bandai likes their exclusives

@@Mac-Pla I'm not even saying a reduction in exclusives, just that the grade system covers other aspects of things.
P-Bandai uses the grade system as well because it helps people know what they're getting into with the kit.

Only older boxes of Gunpla kits still have only the Bandai Logo on them, all new batches have the Bandai Namco Logo on them now.

Huh really? I never knew that I know the old boxes have the red Bandai logo I just thought the newer ones switched to the blue logo unless that is associated with Bandai Namco?

@@Mac-Pla Bandai made the change just recently on the boxes to include the Blue Bandai Logo and the Bandai Namco logo. I noticed it this year because I got a MGEX Unicorn Gundam, PG Banshee and an HG Xi Gundam kit and all of them have both logos on them. I think they just wanted a unified packaging. Since the Gunplas are connected to the anime, manga and videogames (Gundam Evolution, Gundam Battle Operation 2, etc.) and the company wanted to show that Bandai Namco is a big part of carrying the Gundam franchise now.

@@KriZZ-1985 Interesting I had no idea but good to know thanks for the info I’ll have to pay more attention to the newer box arts!
