Holding onto the ball too long and taking sacks. O-line getting beat on every single play. Fairbairn missing the game tying field goal. The defense giving up 20 points in the first half. Stupid penalties on offense. I just dont see things getting any better! WTF is going on with CJ?! He just doesnt seem like the same guy this season! Losing to the Titans at home is unacceptable!

Cj isn't looking good as last year because, defenses have figured out how he performs in this scheme. Especially during halftime. Like that one guy said, Slowick uses basic outdated Shannahan scheme that everyone has already seen a 1000 times. It's not the 2010s anymore, and Slowick isn't some new offensive guru like he been made out to be.

What is the deal with thinking you're run game is going to be successful, running behind your weakness which is your opponents strength? All the above are questions looking for answers. The answer, an Interim OC the rest of the season then look for reputable OC off season.
Offense did plenty. 20 pts. 20 is plenty, yeah that tracks... Yes the Defense was garbage this game, but the Offense for the 11th game this season has looked AWFUL!!! Nothing in the second half. There's no tempo, can't create any temp because the good plays either get called back, Stroud's running for his life or getting sacked/hit, the players are celebrating every first down instead of getting the ball to the refs and going hurry up, and every ball is being snapped within 0-3 seconds of a delay of game. not sure if that's Slowik not being able to get the calls in fast, or what? But there's no momentum to be gained by this offense, nothing to keep the D on their toes, they're getting fully set, have time to conspire, see the look, get a double shot espresso mocha frappe and enjoy it before the play is called.
I said this a few weeks ago and I'm gonna say it again. DeMeco needs to be fired. All we hear every week during the week from this guy is execution, better tackling, disciplined football - the list goes on and on. Yet, the players continue to constantly get penalties and miss tackles on top of C.J. regressing with his interceptions and so forth. Stroud is currently ranked as the 22nd best quarterback by in the NFL by ESPN. It's obvious the Texans hardly listen to Ryans. Otherwise, we won't be in this predicament right now just like they lost to the Jets and blew a big lead against the Lions. In conclusion, Cal needs to pull the plug on DR and hire a proven head coach like Belichick to right the ship.

He certainly doesn’t seem to be at this point. He is out there looking completely lost. Last season he was playing with house money, throwing simple plays but now when tape is out on him, he seems so surprised that those plays are taken away for him. And I am tired hearing oh it is Slowik, that’s bs. Slowik made him last season. Sure he could dial up slightly better plays but this is a lot on CJ as QB, and ton on OL line without character. That OL is not a team, just individual players with potential. Mixon is the guy with the grit and a leader in that offense, with Nico next to him. Everyone else is just there
