i was rooting for Alexv up until the first game of the grand finals. he was excitable in the earlier parts of the tournament but idk i found his behavior eventually got on my nerves and seemed unsportsman like. dont get up in people's face in the middle of the grand finals. that said, i look forward to his future as a KI player

What the hell! I've never received a forced controller update message in all my years owning a Xbox One and Series. I didn't even knew such a message existed!
People can create their own combos using Light, Medium, and Heavy attacks that can be stringed together in a particular structure. The combos have the same animations but can be longer or shorter depending on strength. Having to watch and learn both punch and kick sets. Combos can be broken if you know what kind of strength is being used and enter that same strength at the same time the attack connects. Guessing wrong or missing the timing will lock you into the combo. Breakers can also be also be countered be the attacker if they think you are going to try and break. If successful, the counter breaker will not only lock in their opponent but reset the combo gauge for additional damage to add up in said combo. In short, combat is constantly a mind game. Is he going to try to break? Should I counter break? What strength are they using? Is it safe to break? Should I take the damage or risk even greater damage? This is not going into how a combo structure works. Specials. Combat styles. Potential damage vs regular. But this is basically what we are watching and paying attention to. The mind games between characters and players

I like the new KI, but i was a big fan of the og KI arcade cabinet. I was good enough to be able to reset the cabinet while doing a combo with a combo. I could also do the stutter slo-mo combos into an ultra that sends the opponentup and off the screen....whils also in a shadow combo ultra. Also the typical cider/eyedole infinite hit combo. I really got into doing a super quick 2 hit into a slo-mo ender which sent them off the screen really REALLY slow.
If you look at the life bars, they are barely half the size of a regular life bar. All life bars taking damage when going into instinct. Other life bars can take damage if assists get caught in an attack. The trade off being that these three bars represent tools and abilities that can be lost should the player not play well
Commentary while match is so unnecessary. Viewers should be tuned in the actual match and no commentary. After the match is over yhe commentators should view the best combo's strategies etc with highlights. I don't wanna hear what's happening while im watching 😔😭
