Cucu must have been really pleased that everyone enjoyed her cooking. Amaya going back for second & third helping. I think that Remi is going to be a foodie. He really seems to enjoy his food ( except Weetabix 😂😂). And he loves joining in, with whatever is going on around him. Smiling and laughing, those big brown eyes sparkling. My sister used to steal my food so it makes me feel a bit funny watching this. And I would have hoped that Mum would get some backing from her family. She clearly wasn't ok with it.
I was fine with it, I was just joking and Amaya could tell that. If I was being serious, she would have been able to tell and would’ve stopped. By the way, I’d already had a full portion… that was my second plate 👍🏼

Dad said to let Mum have the ugali, that was ignored and if things like that are going to be said, you need to follow through. Lots of psychological stuff, particularly about power. Mum is often made to look weak, by herself as well as others, for instance the "who is your best friend, Amaya" stuff, which I think is difficult for Amaya but pretty much always makes Mum look a tad desperate. Amaya is only three and wont understand the subtleties that adults do. I know you wont agree so let's just agree to disagree?
