I LOVE Cohinita Pibil! Last time we were down in Cancun, we could not get enough of it. Here in SoCal, we have a couple of Yucatan restaurants that do it pretty well, but never found it better than down in Cancun.
@@NoBSEateries I would say that Yucatan food was some of my favorite Mexican food. However, we did recently go to a famous Oaxacan restaurant, and their food was really, really good, too.
That is a fine showcase of culinary craftsmanship. I always love how you go through a process with everything, as opposed to simple prep and cook. The tacos looked amazing. I want to jump through my phone and eat them. Lol! Fantastic video!

Great cooking video here, love all the steps and ingredients Brian uses. Did he strictly follow a recipe, or did he put a few twists of his own into the cook? The best tacos I ever had was when I was still in the Navy and in San Diego. Went to Tijuana with a buddy and we had a bucket of Coronas, and these beautiful tacos where the meat was carved off of a trompo. (Very much like a shawarma in the Mid East) The meat was one of the best things I ever had. They were put into a small corn tortilla. So simple, but still the best I ever had.
We are planning a trip to Mexico to try all the tacos. We just need to work out the logistics with my work because we will definitely want more than 1 week. Brian loosely follows recipes but always puts his own spin on things and it comes out perfect! -S
