People said this season is not as great as the Genesis one. Like people?? BETTER okay. I love how Charioce prioritizes his goal while Nina decides not to give up on their love! Some said the ending is sad but it's mesmerizingly perfect! You gotta sacrifice for something bigger than yourself and the ending captures the message beautifully. The plot quality and art can be compared to that of Ghibli level to me. Credits for the author and creators
in all my anime life, i have never watched an anime that felt so close to home and real. it was most saddest happiest endings i have ever seen... chris and nina made it out together and alive but with a very sad cost yet their love prevailed! i can't even begin to say how magical this storyline is
The ending is good as it is. Chris lost his eye's for killing so many innocent(punishment)and nina lost her voice. It's sad but beautiful at the same time, their love is really strong. Love this anime, hope there's more to them.
The angels and demons were not innocent. Humanity constantly caught between them and their never ending war. Hero king. @Little Squirrel I haven't finished this anime. I save it for internet outages when I'm bored. I have gotten about 15 episodes in over the years though. IIRC, the human king loses one eye fighting off the angel's invasion when they decide to genocide the human race because they are no longer providing proper worship like good little pets. He uses dark magic that requires sacrifice. This is probably how he loses the other eye as well. My understanding is that he basically saves mankind from constantly being the fodder caught up in an eternal struggle between the angel and demon races. But because killing people is mean.. this somehow makes him the bad guy. I guess I should just finish it lol. Might be talking out my ass at this point.
I think virgin soul was a really good antithesis to genesis. Favarro chose the world over his love, and Nina on the other hand chose love over the world; neither had the ending they wished for. Fava lost Amira and although Nina didn’t lose Charioce in the physical sense, they each lost an irreplaceable part of themselves. This season was a perfect continuation of the first one, I loved it
I like how they interact with each other. You can feel that this is how normal people could actually behave. Usually couples are portrayed in such a absurd and over the top way that it's quite refreshing to see something "normal". Like the way they're hugging each other - it's realistic which is not very common in anime because in most series the girl is treated like a bag of potatoes when it comes to hugging. It seems like nothing but after watching hundreds of anime series you start to appreciate little things ;)
Not everything has to be realistic speacially in animation, i like many anime couple that arent very realistic in real life but who cares im not watching anime to think in the real world
Yes, the animation in this is really cool... Feels like it's not even an animation more like a movie. And the choreography of dancing scenes is truly great. As a dancing lover I appreciate it 👍👏
I don't really like romance but I decided to watch this anime because i fell in love with the amv. Now that I finished watching the anime, I am still watching this amv over and ovet again and crying because of the last scene where nina and charioce danced....I must say that this is my favorite amv ❤️

You know throughout the entire show, Charioce gave me every reason to hate him( Despite deep down in my head i knew he had his reason). Now that I have finally completed the show, I realise that this mans reason for doing everything he's done was to destroy the very being that has taken his mothers and countless others lives. At the end everyone praised him for his self sacrifice, Love prevailed and Nina made sure he wasnt alone, the ending to this show was short, heartwarming and heartbreaking all at the same time! Sad part was that Nina could no longer speak and Charioce was blind and so the only way they would know is through the power of Dance. Very beautiful!

This is one of my favorite anime couple, honestly... There ain't many couples like Chris and Nina out there, where every little thing that they do, contains deeper meaning. The whole romance in Virgin Soul was put so well together. I also really enjoyed Chris's character as a whole anti-hero, as there aren't many in anime these days, especially the ones that do it to achieve a greater purpose of the entire world, well in Chris's case it's also heaven and hell, besides earth, like Lelouch, and there aren't many characters like Nina as well, who can keep smiling through the world end and proudly say that they would rather see world disappear than lose the one that they love. There said, AMV was great and put well together, capturing all of their greatest moments together, very well done, now I will be going ahead and replaying this x10000 more times. ^^'

I watched this anime in 2017, and I can't forget the relationship of these two! I really loved their relationship and felt that it was real, even real relationships in life don't make you feel what these two felt
This anime is like in my top 10 fave anime list, the story was perfect but the ending was soo unexpected, at least for me. It was a happy ending but they both lost one of their senses and because of that they cannot communicate anymore which is pretty sad but they still can dance👏👏

Aside from how nicely the video is cut, telling a story of its own. I very much love the warning provided in the heading. Gave the video a go anyway because sometimes it's okay, but had to peace out a minute in. So I'm sure your warning helped someone with epilepsy or similar avoid an unpleasant experience.
I think I'm pretty about liking a character or not, especially female leads, but I really like Nina. She is a very strong character who's not scared to love, and at first I thought that her whole dilemma with cute boys was a little weird and annoying, but she really charmed me! Though she started out as a center piece to the story because of her destructive strength, it is not what kept her in the story as a strong main character and I really like that.

This anime is like in my top 10 fave anime list, the story was perfect but the ending was soo unexpected, at least for me. It was a happy ending but they both lost one of their senses and because of that they cannot communicate anymore which is pretty sad but they still can dance👏👏

I just started to watch this anime because I already lost count how many times I watched this amv. And I can't stop singing this song while watching the anime.
Aside from how nicely the video is cut, telling a story of its own. I very much love the warning provided in the heading. That was a very considerate detail that not many creators add to their videos, and while I myself am not prone to seizures I can appreciate that it was done. You have my respect for that added consideration. =)

@@PantaNaXamogelas I was really appreciative of the warning. I am not epileptic but can be sensitive to flashing lights ever since Covid fucked with my brain. Gave the video a go anyway because sometimes it's okay, but had to peace out a minute in. So I'm sure your warning helped someone with epilepsy or similar avoid an unpleasant experience.
I think I'm pretty about liking a character or not, especially female leads, but I really like Nina. She is a very strong character who's not scared to love, and at first I thought that her whole dilemma with cute boys was a little weird and annoying, but she really charmed me! Though she started out as a center piece to the story because of her destructive strength, it is not what kept her in the story as a strong main character and I really like that.
she's quite naive but i love the fact she's not afraid to love too, she trusts herself more than anyone else
