Robots or androids are not going to make me an idolater. I don't see these as a replacement of the Supreme being. Maybe some people will be that way. I'm thinking that these robots can help in the home healthcare, or helping elderly, or help in nuclear disasters.

" Project RIA" will now be produced by Machani Robotics.
RIA will have unique algorithms.
Near human vision, face , object and speech recognition.
Surround audio inputs for better hearing.
Complete manual dexterity for light task skills.
Better legs and mobility than ever before will be only the beginning.

Give them the capacity to care so they won’t rise up. Oh please. Humans have the capacity to care and yet do we. If we did, there would be no starving people in the world, No homeless people, no oppressive regimes and no wars, no have alls and have nots, etc.
Once the robots have the capacity to care, then like humans they will care for themselves as well. They will then like humans put themselves, their needs, wants and desires before others and above all. This will mean once sentient with the ability to care, they will no longer want to be held in servitude.
