Just read that Quest partnered with Air and will be selling them in 2024. Quest also worked out the bugs in the app. Time will tell. It will be marketed as a beginner/occasional use detector.
The Quest Air as it is now known is listed on the questmetaldetectors.com website and it has also been listed at retailers, although showing as not in stock. I think it should be available to purchase before the end of the year. 👍
Hello I would like to try this unique device I have been hobby detecting for 37 yrs I have used every vlf detector available I must try one of these unique machines I downloaded app just need info on the purchase of the coil and rod assembly
Just received mine.. so much potential, but the software is still on version 1.1.1 and this thing os very limited. If I lose my keys in the yard, I'll reach for this. So sad..
It definitely was not what was promised during the crowdfunding period. Lets hope that now Quest has taken over and developed it into the Quest Air that things are on the up. I know that is not much consolation for those who bought the original but, perhaps the updated Quest Air App might function with the original 🤔

In its original form it certainly wasn't great but since Quest took over and developed it further it is much improved. Time will tell of course but we should know soon how well the move to Quest has panned out.
