I’m scheduled for next week and I keep beating my self up because I keep getting an average of 76% on Jason’s practice exams, he considers a passing of 90% but this kinda gave me relief. I’m still going to keep taking practice test up until test day
Good summary, I just passed Sec+, studied the CompTia materials, Professor Messer's videos, and then lastly used online pretests (maybe the Udemy ones?). The first part of the CompTia exam was nothing like any of the practice tests
hey maddy!! :) first, i want to say that you are very cool and ive liked your mic buddy ^^ and.. i have a video suggestion, tell us a bit of your story, what bring you to this world of cyber in general?
You didn't read any book at all? only watching Messer's videos, notes and Jason dion's set 1 and 2 tests?, i stuck between 72-75 as well when doing dion practice tests
I have adhd and I wanna get into security I’m 19 have no idea where to start I feel like Iv failed myself in every way. I don’t really have a good educational background only basic high school stuff. I’m passionate but idk if it’s worth paying all this money if I don’t get a job out of it in the end. Also I have parents who r on my back 24/7 making things hard for me to make decisions about these things for my career. U think I can do this I Litro have no idea what I wanna do with my life anymore I’m stuck
My friend I'm 30 and let me tell you investing in this certificate is something I wish I did at your age. There are plenty of jobs that would be really receptive to seeing the Sec+ certification (don't get me wrong, I'm not talking about making riches here, just that you'll stand out more from the rest in an IT position)
And after you graduated in BS in Cybersecurity (this is a huge detail you omitted) you studied +30 days and passed.

Yeah highest I got was 76% and I legit got a 776 so I'm sure you'll be fine
