The only nails that needed refining were the nails where I extended the free edge. So you’ll see about 8mins 20 into the video they look dull where I have filed over them. The other nails were simply an overlay, so didn’t need refining or buffing. These nails appear shiny. There is no need to buff over or refine nails that have only had an overlay, this is where you need to apply it well so there is no need to file or buff 😊
Hi! If you had applied gel polish color over the plexi, would you have then done the scrub and massage at that point? I love that added service at the end of the manicure. Is this scrub an add-on? Or part of your regular manicure service routine?
Yes if I’m doing a manicure rather than a shape and polish I would do the exfoliation and massage at the end rather than before, so once I have applied the gel colour and cured. The reason for this is because soaking the nail can cause the gel polish to not adhere so well to the nail plate, so I usually finish with it. This is an add on, which I charge more for, if it was just a shape and polish I would finish with solar oil

My prices vary, if they have a Shellac manicure it’s £36.50 then I charge an additional £5 for a layer of the Plexigel shaper as an overlay. If it was for a set of builder gel enhancements with the mani, it would be £54.50
@@samidluxe that includes the scrub and massage, if it’s just gel shape and polish I charge £25 with an extra £5 for the overlay. Or £43 for enhancements. I hope that makes sense. I’m not sure where your based or what your prices are like in your area. I’m one of the more expensive places in my area, but I base my prices on my the hourly wage I set myself along with product costs and business expenses and the experience I have. These prices are for standard colours, I always charge up to a further £20 for any nail art
Hi, no there is no primer needed with plexigel. You would just use the scrubfresh to dehydrate the nail and remove any surface oils once you have buffed lightly to remove the surface shine off the nail. Then come straight in with your bonder 😊
