yes it is. when he wears the short wig and wears a suit he describes it as his 'kryptonite'. in the making of mightyboosh paul king jokes that the short hair is his real hair. but they all laugh. in the commentary for the IT crowd, they say that the first scenes they shot with noel he was wearing the short hair wig, and the next day when he came in without the wig, it was funny because everyone thought the long black hair wasnt real. its his real hair. end.
