The thing is, that really was the happiest year of Deku's life. He was bullied since he was a little kid and most likely can't remember anything past that. When, he heard he was expelled it probably hurt him more than he let on since that's the happiest he's ever been. That was the first time he was actually fully accpeted and had friends and people to care for him. He was actually able to have fun. But then it was all over. It was over the second All Might accused him of being a traitor. There was nothing left for him anymore after that, so he just gave up. Why be a hero if there is nothing left for you to save?

Uhm actually I do agree but like he is an amazing hero and always will be even if he isn't a hero physically anymore he is still a hero mentally 😢

No like my life is like my mom says something like why do always have to miss up everything but i don't do it on purpose and like I have to cook for myself and I got bullied and the only one that care for me my sister and I'm 13 years old I always have to do everything for them and I try my best and they don't do shit for me and I still care for my family even though they don't see u hurt or anything I still need to care for them and I'm grateful for them my mom brings me to earth

I love how Endeavor is crying as well! He didn’t cry when his child would come close to death or when is child went missing but he would cry because Izuku got expelled.
