This is their first tour where they have an elaborate stage presentation. They’ve been a “let’s get down to business “ band with their stage decor. I saw them for the first time in San Diego on 11/7/95 with the great Jack Irons.
They continue to be a huge draw on the road. Their fans seem to be very loyal considering mainstream radio has not played their new material in decades.
Hes been absolutely belting out toones now for the best part of 35 years, at the very highest level of success. His voice isn't just holding up well, it sounds as magnificent as ever. So much so, I think it has to be said, that when it comes to being a front man, in one of the biggest rock bands in the world, since day one, & especially when it comes to being a front man who has range & can actually sing melodically, Eddie Vedder is arguably THEE absolute best of all time. I can't think of anyone to rival him. Keep on rockin in the free world Eddie !! 🦾
I love Pearl Jam and vedder is by far my favorite vocalist but I’m sorry they can’t hold a candle to mick jagger and the stones he has been doing it a lot longer and performing at such high level. There’s not even a debate about it.

I mean this isn’t fan footage it’s a produced ‘live’ video on the official PJ channel. It’s been processed and cleaned up. I saw them live a couple years ago and he does still sound amazing but don’t confuse this with actual live audio.
Amazing that after all these years of incredible music and incredible songs, this one has become my all-time favorite PJ song. The lyrics just slay me. I'm grateful they're still going, too!
I've been to 5 shows on this tour so far, with 4 on deck, but I'm here to say I've been so please to be able to actually see Josh on stage (not hidden like last year) he adds so much value and texture to all Pearl Jam songs. 1:33 is just one example. He's a great addition to the touring band! 👏👏👏
