    I love the “Is it still worth it” format. So many products have come out over the past few years that it’s hard to keep up, and looking back at some of the classics with hindsight is a great idea!

      I never did it because I thought it would just feel weird. I decided I would just put it out of my mind and just treat it almost like a new review and I think it ended up pretty good.

    Jack Henry is the freaking best! The Clay kicks butt and proves it can be done with only a few high quality Real ingredients. For people out there trying to avoid all the crappy stuff in hair and beauty products, there just aren’t that many options. Super stoked I found these guys.

    • @MMTV
      @MMTV  Год назад +1

      @@jameskilleen7804 hey there! Not a bad idea. Although I’m not sure it’s a fair comparison across the board. Cloud control and forte series are tonics- a collection of oils or a single oil in the case of forte. The 25 spray is a bit different it contains vastly different ingredients like Shea butter, peg 40, vp/Va- it’s just a different type of product really. It would be like comparing a texture spray to a pomade in other words.

    in your last review of this product, you mentioned how it's even better when used in damp/towel dried hair, and it made it a totally different (better) product.
    i find it very odd that this important piece of info wasn't mentioned here...unless that it's no longer the case.

      @@zach3955 crazy huh? Well i decided to buy this product again lol, last time i had it was when it came in a glass jar and not this plastic one and I accidentally lost it a while back.

    • @fernandorodriguez876
      @fernandorodriguez876 Год назад

      @@zach3955 in complete honesty, it gravitates more towards paying for the name than product, i bought the product off their website directly and got the 1 oz jar and spent like 28 bucks? That’s after mikes discount too. It was a bit cheaper back then and honestly, I wasn’t a big fan of it because due to the fact i have fine wavy hair, the product made it pretty greasy and was NOT sweat resistant and would make my hair fall flat after like an hour in like 80 degree heat. BUT after about 3 or 4 years of styling my hair I definitely want to give it another try. The only special thing i can say about this is how minimalist it is in terms of ingredients which is neat i guess. Other than that i have no current opinion on the product or it’s tricks. I can give you an update on how it performs in about a week or less.

    • @fernandorodriguez876
      @fernandorodriguez876 Год назад

      @@zach3955 little late on the update but i tried it for a couple days, now i will say it definitely performs alot better than last time i used it, the hold I’d say is a 8/10 if you put it in slightly damp hair and use about two dime sized scoops maybe a bit more. I have fine wavy hair which is at about 7 inches long atm which i like to slick back and this product does the job when i use about two scoops. Now that being said while it is better than it was before imo it’s something i would use as a backup since the hold tended to fluctuate from a 8/10 to 4/10. My main go to products are clays that provide ALOT of hold while giving a matte finish and good texture such as enigma from lockhart and root and muddles matte clay. Let me know if you have more questions.

    Definitely looks like an interesting product! What kind of shampoo do you usually use to wash out product?

    • @MMTV
      @MMTV  Год назад

      I have a tub of shampoos from my shampoo search segment and if they work for me in the video- they enter the tub and I just basically do a random grab, use it and toss it back in until it’s empty. Most shampoos worth their salt will wash out a product like this. Even oil based ones I’ve found that if you start with a little conditioner first, then shampoo it brings it right out. I did just recently make my own set though so I’ll obviously be using that a ton cuz it will be widely available to me
