    Such a shame they couldn't keep this momentum going & that they couldn't work things out with the classic lineup. All these guys are just as important as Dino. Now us fans are the ones who lose :(

      @@revivedfears No they both came out in the US. If I wanted to a could have bought both, but I was in college and poor at the time so I picked up the tour one because I thought it’d be better to get some live footage. A girl I talked to in class told me she bought the making of version so she told me what I missed out on. It was probably a marketing scheme like X-men comics in the 90s. “Buy Both!”

    Man, how times change. Now Dino is back in FF, and all these guys are not. Watching this 8 years down the road, and knowing the current status of FF, I had an epiphany - The current line up and lack of ALL the members in this band is DIRECTLY the result of choices Bell made. Raymond and Cristian didn't want to work with Dino, and Burton decided to for, and this is in his own words, the money. They lead to the lawsuits, which lead to bankruptcies, which leads to Burton losing his rights to the FF IP, which lead to Dino being the only one left in the band.
    It's all really sad, especially if you look back at around 98 or so and how much other media FF was branching into (games, movies, etc..). I feel like FF could be a HUGE band now days if they didn't all hate each other.

    This is great but also makes me sad. They have such a passion here and it’s so interesting hearing them talk. Especially Christian and Raymond. I can’t believe what Burt and Dino did to Christian and Raymond when they just kicked them out of the band without even telling them. That’s some bs. Burt likes to talk about how the years of trials and drama with the band wore him down; well, sometimes it seems like he started it.

    Saying that it made Demanufacture look like it was for beginners is only true if you took the time to write the Demanufacture riffs yourself, and we all know that was not the case.

    • @superfandomf8ketimefriends992
      @superfandomf8ketimefriends992 4 года назад +4

      True so true. But it's the easiest record they ever wrote Christian claims. But it makes Demanufacture beginners. Let's face it Christian learned from playing along side of Dino. He's good cause of Dino. But don't get me wrong I love this album and Transgression. But hearing Powershifter I said to myself "Now that's FEAR FACTORY!"

    • @demanufacture6675
      @demanufacture6675 3 года назад +5

      Yeah, I think Archetype is a great record, but Christian saying that the songs on there: 'Make Demanufacture look for beginners' is absolute bullshit to be honest. Songs like Demanufacture, Self Bias Resistor, Zero Signal, Pisschrist are fucking next level, there's nothing like that on Archetype.

    • @chasethecolors
      @chasethecolors Год назад +1

      Pretty sure he was talking about the drums. I got the vibe he was talking about them, not really the riffs. Like what he was saying how Raymond initially didn’t think he could play Slave labor. Who knows though.

    • @chasethecolors
      @chasethecolors Год назад

      @@demanufacture6675 he only said they “came up with some stuff” while jamming in the studio that made demanufacture look for beginners. Not that the songs themselves do. He means little parts here and there.

    Honestly, has anyone heard this band like? Burton is the weak link. Don't get me wrong, he has a great tone in studio. He is almost tone deaf sometimes. It's sad because I am a huge fear factory fan! It is sad that he is a big disappointment live. I think he tries to growl through his singing parts. Kinda sad

      Seen them all the way back in the 90’s… Many times. Never had that problem. Even ten years ago.
      The new guy is not a step up though. He’s there for the fun; but the the FF message, the intensity, is gone. Saw them three mos ago and sadly I can’t recommend. Can’t go back.
